Xur should sell weapon catalysts, including raid ones.
Not the catalysts for the newer weapons, but for year 1 stuff like skyburners oath, sleeper, etc. This would help those who haven't aquired the catalysts yet for older weapons without having to go back into older raids.
Edit: You could argue that these catalysts have been out for so long that there is no reason why you dont have them. However, it also reasonable to say that these catalyst by now are old content and therefore why not just let xur (once a month) sell a few at a time.

39 RepliesI would like to see these old catalysts become more available outside the raid too, but having Xur sell them seems a bit to easy. Maybe tie them to a quest you get from Xur. Nothing special that would make players who already got the catalysts feel left out. Just a bunch of monotonous tasks to make up for getting them easily. I know first hand how difficult it can be to get a group together for old raids and then to be denied what you're searching for by rng. Something more straightforward would be nice in my opinion.

2 RepliesWhile we’re at it let’s add Last Word, Thorn and Ace of Spades. Maybe some legendaries; NF, MT, Recluse and Randy’s should all be available along with all the Gambit and Vanguard pinnacles. Also - let’s make it so Xur sells raid armor, IB armor and even Y1 Trials armor. Seriously though this is a looter shooter. If you want the loot go shoot the things you need to. If you can’t find players on lfg - which you can - find a better clan. If all of this is to hard for you, you’re playing the wrong game.

Should Xur sell Malfeasance because you don't like Gambit? Should Shaxx sell Redrix's Claymore because you didn't get it in Season 3? No, simply no. The fact that this post has so many upvotes is very concerning to me...

4 RepliesI agree. Xur should sell Whisper of the worm and Outbreak Prefected guns too. Being trying to do those insane jumping puzzles for a long time and I have concluded it's impossible to do for me. Know matter what I do or wear.

1 ReplyI would certainly like that for catalysts like Sweet business which i don't think are accessible now that faction rallies are gone. Personally i would be in favor of a token that bumps catalyst drop rate to 50% for their respective activities. Or if a catalyst has certain hidden drop conditions (been playing a year and have yet to get Vigilance Wing cataylst) to drop in crucible offer an quest that is long and grindy like old pinnacle weapons quests to at least give players that don't play 1 mode exclusively a path to getting it.

2 RepliesI second this, "Year one's catalyst's and exotic weapons" in general should be in Xur's loot pool. If you're that someone who cry's and says "No they have to earn them like I did!" I feel sorry for you and the life you live for crying about stuff in a video game thats 2 years old. 🤷🏼

i approve this idea because i cant not find team that are willing to do old raids especially heroic versions of the raid we have got 4 new raids since sos and eow i think its time for a change in raid catalyst sistem

Alak-Hul the Darkblade is one such. Long ago he fomented rebellion against the King and attempted to take his mantle. Alak-Hul failed and now awaits the “mercy” of the Hive. Given the chance the Darkblade will step in to take Oryx’s crown. We must not allow another prince to rise.

Xur should sell an ascendant shard per week (like the fated engram). The fact that you can only get them in the 980 ordeal is ridiculous.

I agree with you boss for certain Catalyst’s. Stuff like Tractor Cannon, D.A.R.C.I, Huckleberry, ETC should be on rotation at Xur for like 100 Shards or something. My theory is the Catalyst’s in the Database yet to be released will drop from Xur. Raid Catalysts however should remain as they are because most of them show the dedication of players who are consistent raiders, and lets be real Raid Catalysts are what keeps Raids alive for the most part like Spire Of Stars and Eater Of Worlds would have 0 active players if it wasn’t for the catalysts.
