Iron Banner is Laggier Than Ever!
99% of all time i play against solo's.
Approximately every third match is being called.
Almost every match one team has a big connection advantage.
Too many laggy players.
Bad hit registration.
With all these things happening i prefer CBMM! At least the gunfights are more fair with CBMM and way less lag.

Makes for crispy connections in PvP matches. When I didn't have the geo filter active I was watching the map to see who it was matching me with. It was all over the place. I'm in illinois.. it was matching me with people in California, cuba, Mexico, south africa, Europe etc etc... i was like ehhhh ya no.. geo filter active 😂

Same here and nothing changed in my connection. I don’t see the change in match making either. More lag that’s it.

Yea it's the same with freelance comp. I just got seemingly one shot by Mida multi tool ffs. It's so disgusting I wonder how the hell anyone can get to legend solo. I'm just f'n confused. 100k+ crucible kills, 2+ kad lasyt season soloed comp wirhth over 10win streaks yet this season I have hard time f'n to go positive no matter if I have unbrokens or sub 1kd noobs against me. I mean I'm tired of complaining about this but what else can I do. It's a video game lol.

Yep. Every single match of mine has been either a lag fest, stacked teams, a complete mismatch resulting in a mercy, or a combination of the above. Sandbox doesn't help either. It's a mess.

No lag on ps4 too. I have no problem ( and i play on the first ps4, the " fat " one) The only problem i got is the framerate who literally die during the GoS final boss.

1 ReplyAgreed. Its laggy AF. I thought it was just my connection than sent my wife and daughter out, disconnected all there devices and still laggy AF. No dedicated servers so what can you expect from bunghole.

2 RepliesThe telesto glitch is getting out of hand too. I played last night and i did not know about telesto glitch. I saw players get super less than 1 minute into matches. They need to disable telesto till fix.

Same happening to me. It’s a mess. I’m starting to just leave bad matches instead of waiting for it to be called for a better one. It’s just a nightmare because I was getting called matches 3-4 times in a row.

I think they have been tweaking the connections all week. I am from the UK and at the start of the week I was playing only UK and really close European countries. As the week has worn on I have started to see East Coast America start to sneak in to lobbies, the Middle East has started to sneak in and then today I have had a game where someone from Iceland haha. As the week has gone on I think SBMM has either been pushed up or tweaked somewhat for how far it will push out geographically. When I play I have my ping graph on to see the spikes and start of the week I would see maybe one person in every 4 or 5 lobbies who made the ping spike. today I am seeing it a lot more. Even a few people in specific lobbies where it spikes.

The SBMM is broken. No way I’m a top player, but I was matching against some top players match over match and the connection was the worst of any IB I’ve played going back to D1. It was so bad, I backed out of several matches for the first time in ages.

I had the same issues in Gambit today. Earlier in the week I had decent games. Emptied half a clip (30+ rounds) of my Hammerhead at reasonably close range into an invaders head and never even took his shield down. He one shot me. Had a Titan invader run through a wall, pass through me and then hit me from the other side. Really weird connection issues today.

13 RepliesThere's always an assessment that needs to be done - is it one person that's lagging or many? Is it just the opposing team or both teams? Remember that it isn't always going to be someone's else's problem. It may be your own network or ISP causing the issue. So far I've only seen one person lag in about 20 games.
