What is going on with Iron Banner?
First three games so far all on the same map. All games called early. Can’t even get a single kill because I’m dead in one shot. Opposing players not showing up on radar and taking literally zero damage when shot. I mean I know I’m at 932 but most of these players are at the same level or slightly higher shouldn’t make a huge difference. Everything seems glitchy. Seems like pvp is 100% worse than it was yesterday.

Iron Banner matchmaking & connection has always been horrendous since D1. It seems like every current IB it's worst than before, la crème de la crème, palme d'or of poor connectivity.

Its mostly due to the servers being glitchy, but lightlvl does attribute to it. If your 932, a dude whos 950 can one fusion you, and MT is basically broken if the lightlvl is that different.

I do admit i have had some 1v1's this iron banner that have left me checking my gun to make sure I wasn't using blanks. I'm assuming its due to the peer to peer connection? Or am i incorrect ?

1 ReplySomething weird was going on in my last game, like i was alive but the game acted like i was a ghost, emptied a whole clip into a warlock as he was capturing a zone, nothing. Half the enemy team ran right past and then I popped my super, hit them all multiple times with my shield, no kills or damage done to them.. I stayed this way until the end of the match and it was just a bit rubbish

Lagtastic and his Evil Magical Minions! Saw one dude ghost Through a wall like Casper the friendly Ghost. Others not taking any damage no matter how many rounds you put into their skull. Suppers not killing the enemy when you hit them point blank! 😳 Is this some sort of glitchy problem or buggy server problem or a down and dirty attack of the Cheating Steaming piles of Dog Crap? 🤨 I have seen enemies lag skipping or by evil magic they are in front of you off in the distance and poof they are right behind you one shotting you in the head! 😫 So there is something going on!

2 RepliesThe match making in this Iron Banner is the worst I’ve ever seen in any PvP game. Almost every match is a mercy for one team or the other. It looks like there is no system in place that tries to balance the teams at all - it’s the same problem across all crucible game types. It’s putting people off playing the game again. Such a shame!

8 RepliesSbmm combined with power mattering is very frustrating. It's really nice to have equally skilled opponents able to two burst me while it takes 4 bursts for me to kill them. Use a shotgun you say? I have to two tap everyone while they one tap me from forever away. For the love of God eliminate sbmm from iron banner bc it has no place there.

I just settle with getting rid of light advantage. That is a stupid ass mechanic which right now is punishing you for not grinding out to 950 within a week. So new light players and players who have a life and can not play 10 hours a day (such as me and a lot of others) just get a giant f*** you. Which is a real shame cause I like that ironmoss shader and the armor actually looks pretty good IMHO and I wanna get it but I actually have a job and can not grind out to 950 power within a week. Can I get to 950 ? Yes but won't be doing IB till its 2nd or 3 rotation.

The new/old map are a shit show, everyone is running around like mindless chicken, people get shot from 5 sides at a time... chaos in the most -blam!- form. And spawn sniping is just awesome on these 3 maps. I don't even think the bungotards play the game at this point.

The p2p networking is really taking a toll on the crucible experience but this is nothing new. As far as the maps, they are only running 3 maps the first 2 days of iron banner.

Love how the quest is basically aimed at new players giving them a new weapon with each step but at the same time making it impossible to get there with light level advantage enabled 😂 welcome new guardians come get demolished trying to get a pulse rifle

To top it off the IB quest is bugged, the 1 where you need GL kills but for some reason you have to use submachine gun kills lol. At 951, I get 1 to 2 tapped by 840s players, but it takes a full clip for me to kill them. Ppl teleporting through walls and half way through the map. Pinnacle bounty giving me same duplicates, got swarm of the raven 4x from the first 4 IB bounties, all with spike grenade. Idk, getting super tired of destiny's BS lately. I mean I was tired of their crap already, but now it's just silly. The thing I dont get, is how IB gets crappier and larger every time its available, I mean wth are they doing? How come they can't get a decent fix towards it

9 RepliesIB has just gone to crap. Mainly cause all the sweaties, tryhards, disabled people who use backup plan fusions, one eyed mask titans, shotgun ape hunters, solo nova bomb warlocks, and other meta-hugging toxic trash is all in one place. Also, why hasn’t Erentil been nerfed yet?
