It's just a refreshed destination with 3 missions, some old boss fights, and way too much grind. Forsaken was overpriced too, but at least that dlc added content! 9 new trees for your subclasses, TWO brand new destinations with NEW public events, new game mode, much longer story, way more everything...
The focus for shadowkeep is clearly designed around Eververse and the grind, new light and Steam.
So far, I much preferred when Activision was around.

should at least been free for them who is a veteran since d1

1 ReplyI don't mind paying $100.00 if the content is actually added to the game and if Bungie would properly update this game. Its the biggest issue D2 has had at this point. Most of the DLC has been weak at best that I can only say Forsake has been the only decent DLC this entire 2 years. Where the hell are the updates Bungie (promised before D2 release?) because this talking a lot as they do sorta speak and barely any action has gotten really stupid.

It’s called time gated content a lot of games are doing this they will probably release a chunk of the story each season. It’s how companies believe they can keep numbers decent every couple of months.
-
in my opinion the fair price should have been 20$ up to 25$ max
-
22 RepliesI’m just waiting for the bungie one eyed supporters response “I bought it for $50 and already played 100 hours which equates to 50 cents per hour, which is better than eating out”

I actually like shadowkeep. They doing a longer story. They couldve said that this is part 1 but hey -blam!-. Only thing ive liked of forsaken was the reverie gear and the campaign and the dreaming city purely cause it looks great. Dont like the ether ritual or the other public event. But my fave campaign is still Curse of Osiris. I love mercury but wish the planet was a bit bigger. Although i dont mind running around on that planet.

6 RepliesNope. Other than not refreshing all of the gear in game, and the issues with the loot system, this is actually a great DLC. And I am not saying you don't, but a lot of people are having a hard time grasping seasonal content. Even with my critiques, it was worth the money to me.

It's just a refreshed destination with 3 missions, some old boss fights, and way too much grind.
Dont forget about the raid, vex offensive, new exotics, new weapons, and more coming in the future of this season.

1 ReplyI guess it’s all a matter of perspective. I’m fine with what I paid for shadowkeep and season of undying. I also look at the roadmap and realize there’s still plenty of new content that will be rolling out during the season. I also realize how much of bungie’s resources went into new light and cross save plus the transition to steam. I kinda expected a small dlc. Plus I have a job and I can waste 40$ on stupid crap in less than a heartbeat so my perspective on $ is most likely different than yours. A pack of smokes, cup of coffee, and 20$ of gas along with s few lottery tickets is about 40$ and all that lasts about a day. Maybe two for the gas. All perspective my dudes.

1 ReplyI was so happy to see the only Destiny YouTuber I trust at this point to be honest about things, Joker, be the first to come out and say he isnt too impressed.
-
Season Of The Drifter should have been free, actually they should have gave us silver for every reckoning wipe
-
3 RepliesIt will be interesting once Bungie runs out of D1 content to recycle. Probably going to get Venus recycled next.
-
22 RepliesI agree, CoS was only 10 bucks and it's about the same if you include the forest. Destiny maps are way too small to begin with Meanwhile you've got games like NeverWinter shelling out yearly expansions for free, new races etc...for free, playable areas in these new expansions are larger than the entirety of destiny 2. Its mind boggling how inefficient that engine must be that it restricts map size and enemy count to pre xbox original numbers.
-
1 ReplyDude all their DLC is ALWAYS overpriced. You haven't learned that yet? You must be new to destiny.
-
10 RepliesIt seems like Activation is much better than Bungie??? At least they give us much more contents than bungo for the same price...😂😂😂

Should have been 100 actually. They underpriced it.
-
Man to me its just alot of reskinned areas and gear. Not sure how to feel about it so far.

4 RepliesThis. Warmind was £17. Same short campaign, raid lair (short raid), horde mode. This has a dungeon which we've yet to see, but unlike Warmind half of the 'new' content is available free, yet it costs early twice as much. I didn't buy Shadowkeep on release but I got suckered in by that cliffhanger reveal at the end of the first mission. What a letdown that was! I won't spoil it in detail here, but if anyone is expecting a new alien race's ship to have anything actually new inside. . .

Edited by Guardian5488: 10/8/2019 8:06:17 AMAnd don't forget this moronic fixation on nerfing and watering down everything. Literally every single thing is a reskin or a dumbed-down version of D1. For what f-reason they didn't include Crotas End is beyond any comprehension. Where the F are exotic swords? Where the S are exotic weapons, literally copy-paste was needed. Bring the F-ng self-raise at last.

I was trying to think hard about what the new public events were, but then realised your talking about the Vex Invasions. Plus to unlock the season pass your going to need to unlock 10 levels a week, give or take. Took me 10 bounties to unlock 1 level on the pass, so 100 bounties a week, give or take. Fairly dull stuff.. Its got me questioning the season passes worth outside the "new" temporary content Should they change the name of this to " season of doing bounties till your eyes bleed"?
-
How long till you think it'll get reduced? Unlike a lot of people, I've learnt my lesson and will never preorder or buy on release day.
the disappointment is strong in this one ;)
-
1 ReplyI dig it so far. It's a pretty good expansion to me.
-
Spot on, i only bought the season pass because i cant justify spending 30 for a short story and re skinned content.

5 RepliesDoes it bother anyone else when these kids cry about how much a dlc cost. No one cares if you didn't like it, it was $40 measly dollars. No one cares if you feel ripped off, it was $40 measly dollars. Oh No you'll "never" pre-order again. No one cares it was $40 measly dollars. Millions will and no one will notice if you don't. Don't like it, who cares, don't buy it.
