Same meta. Hand cannons and pulse rifles. I thought bungie said there crucible team was going to change things up? But they haven't. Same exact crucible as before shadowkeep with the exception of roaming supers taking a hit.
-
I’d be happy if the separated pvp and pve completely so I never have to play crucible again.
-
1 ReplyCan you please invite me to a lobby where hand cannons are still good cause they are currently the worse option when it comes to primaries
-
It’s changed. Hand cannons aren’t dominant at any range. No more super meta.

2 RepliesEdited by Racebum: 10/7/2019 9:53:30 PMlatency on steam is beyond bad. worst i have ever seen it and i have played since 2014. teleporting, common, not taking damage, common, people with different languages in their gamer tag, common. on average it's considerably worse than the blizzard algo. either the player base is really really low or some SBMM is in play and the new people are ranked really low. everyone i get matched with is using pinnacle weapons, 100+ on the tryhard counter emblem. something is really wrong

2 RepliesI dunno I haven't really adapted yet but first impression is that it's gotten worse. Quickplay matchmaking feels weird and laggy, even in classic mix. And comp seems boring with 3v3, everyone just camps heavy or get's their head blown off. Matchmaking seems even worse than quickplay. But maybe I just had bad experiences and it is in fact great, who knows. Time will tell.

The gun play sandbox is the best state destiny has ever seen, and it’s not bungie’s fault people can’t play with other things, because if you look at TTK chart all weapons have one archetype that can hit average TTK! Always there will be a few outliers, but mathematically there are options!
-
All i see is Scouts rn.
-
I think that’s just your luck. Most of my games are full of scouts now lol even good players I go against are using scouts.
-
1 ReplyI completely disagree, it’s shifted the other way. All I’ve seen now is people camping log distance with scout rifles. On top of that, they removed 4 maps, a couple I actually thought were good. They had CQC, medium range and long range lanes. That and they nerfed HCs and Pulse rifles. Bungie doesn’t know where the middle ground is. They always over nerf and over buff.

2 RepliesThe only weapons I'm seeing are Luna/NF, Recluse, snipers, and scouts. Oh, and a ginormous influx of players who can ADS, strafe, jump, and spam crouch all at the same time with two thumbs on PS4. It's miserable and I can't believe people play that god damn hard in Clash of all places. Gotta love alternate inputs on console. I'm glad I got my Pinnacle weapons. because Crucible has turned into straight shit like Gambit. Their only saving grace is that I can get 800 Bright Dust from them.

What? The game has fundamentally changed on PC. It is literally a different game. Pulses and Scouts are everywhere, more Mtop recluse than ever, Eriana one-shot cheese, and now we are starting to get fusion users too.
-
2 RepliesI don’t think I’ll be able to get not forgotten this season. I’m stuck on mythic 1, and every last game I’ve had up to this point has been completely 1 sided. Either the enemy team stomps us, or we stomp them. Look at my recent games in comp it you don’t believe me. Looks like I’m still relying on RNG to win.

Edited by powerdrive1971: 10/8/2019 6:10:20 PMYes it has changed, Quickplay is sweatier than ever, 6 vs 6 modes are terrible On the other side, the Freelance 3 vs 3 Comp is the most fun I've had on since D1 Y1
-
Oh it has changed we went from hand cannon land to teamshooting trash simulator

1 ReplyI’m going against unbroken enemies when I have never reached fabled. It’s a -blam!-ing joke.
-
The games I get barely hit the score limit in clash 😂 Still the same shotgun apes, but now there's kids sitting at the back of the map with a jade rabbit... Game has literally got worse 😂

4 RepliesIs this why it takes me like 10 minutes to find a match in quickplay? I returned to Destiny 2 after taking sometime off for season or two. Trust me, everybody should do that, it makes the game feel great again when you return. However, just trying to complete my 4 Crucible Matches and it damn near took almost two hours. I used to play on PS4, but now switched to PC and man it can take FOREVER to find 12 Guardians to play. Has it gotten that bad that nobody is playing anymore? Like seriously.

Whenever they decide to fix heavy is when I think PvP might actually have a fighting chance to hold my interest. I have never hated a game more than when I went for Recluse last season, got it and didn’t touch comp ever again.

A couple of annoying issues I see at the moment: 1) Matchmaking duration - seems to take 3 to 5 mins sometimes to actually get 12 in the lobby, but then suddenly as you are supposed to start flying to the destination, the screen either just hangs then gives a beet error code, or it goes dark then back again and you have lost the entire matchmaking of 12 and you are back at 1 again to do it all again. 2) No visable roster of matched players. This is fine to not have this feature for Comp, but for normal QP type matches it was always good to see who is in the lobby as it fills up. It means that if you notice someone who you know to be a lagger or full sweat or even a 5-6 stack of sweats, you can leave before the lobby fills and the match starts. Now you have people leaving as you are flying in as they don't want to be in that match due to the above reasons - there are others maybe but thos would be the main ones. The visible matchmaking lobby needs to come back!

2 RepliesThe only problem is heavy and high impact fusions imo
-
1 ReplyI see scouts, Auto rifles and hand cannons...keep playing

Wait for it....

Just came back and was happy to see Luna doing well enough lol I still get killed by recluse and shotguns but that is my fault for playing at their ranges. I have been using Mida and Luna for the crucible pinnacle weapon but it is taking me longer then normal to get back into it again. Trying different set ups to see what works for me is always fun though.
