Another reason why I haven’t had masterworked armor since literally year 1 I’m not playing boring activities in a specific way to get a specific bounty for one part of five needed to get them and neither am I farming the same boring shit to get materials. I’ll let the addicts do that

Real talk, you only need like seven energy for a meaningful mod setup. That's not very expensive at all. If you want to absolutely min-max everything, sure, it'll take a grind. That's the MMO essence kicking in. You're welcome.

I've been farming the nightfall for prisms which I've got 6 of,got a few cores in the process & did some bounties for xp. Easy. As your power gets higher you'll be able to farm the higher tier nightfalls which make the drops of prisms & exotics more frequent + a chance at getting an ascendant shard.

6 RepliesYeah I rather like the new armor system but I think its even more 'expensive' to fully upgrade now. I think they should have changed it a little, when upgrading the energy on the armor to fit all the mods I think it should only require shards and glimmer, apart from the last few slots, using those prisms for the last few slots is fair. It just so expensive on enhancement cores, since you need 10 of them to even buy the prism and when you need a couple plus an enhancement core for pretty much every energy upgrade it sucks. I am pretty much doing the bounties from banshee on all three characters just so I can use them on my main.

They need to be removed from the game, after 2.0, they became useless other than just having one more thing you need to upgrade.

I also have to have all 4 sets with all 3 affinities! That’s 60 pieces of armor! Now if I want to masterwork 1 piece (not 1 set) it costs 750 enhancement cores! 750 per set x 3 affinities = 9000 x 4 sets = thats 36,000 enhancement cores! See any problems?
