As a paying customer I have publicly criticized Bungie many times. And did so with good cause. I’m a customer first, and “fan” is a very distant second. But companies should be praised when they do good. After playing Shadowkeep for several hours now, I must say, Destiny hasn’t felt this fresh and exciting since The Taken King. So well done Bungie, well done.
That is all...for now.

Agreed 10/10.

$hadowkeep......

3 RepliesFresh and exciting? Hoe low is that bar? Seriously besides feeling that way...and enjoying new content what is particularly innovative, fresh and exciting? It's ok to like it. I can get that. I'm enjoying crucible. It's definitely not fresh or more exciting than other times in destiny's existence. But I'm enjoying it. Dont praise the development team for things they havent earned. It ok to like the game. But fresh and exciting? Really?

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 10/4/2019 4:20:41 PMI agree, but I also can’t ignore the negative either. In my opinion Bungie always takes both steps forward and backward, and they also don’t address obvious flaws and let them sit for very long periods of time.

Tell that to the people who can't even play because of cross-save issues.
As a paying customer I have publicly criticized Bungie many times. And did so with good cause. 2 RepliesEdited by AlieN_x_HuMaN: 10/3/2019 8:00:57 PMShadowkeep is small, but the loot loop is really well done and the whole thing has a D1 vibe which is really great. All changes are great, except no reload on mini titan barrier...dislike.. Please, if you see this, tell the Eris actor (and our Guardian voice actor) that their work is not going unnoticed. Love them both.
and the pyramid ship is spectacular no joke.
I’m loving SK , only half way through campaign. No complaints from me.
-
I agree I'm actually really happy the fact that it feels less like a chore now and more welcoming that actually makes me want to play more because I'm happy about the new changes. I'm actually thinking about buying some more silver soon since I have some armor that I really want like to decorate. I'm really happy with the 3v3 playlist.

Agree. Having a lot of fun, and their is so much to do...

17 RepliesShadowkeep is a slap in the face to customers and fans alike, bungie deserves 0 praise and has lost what little faith I had left in them. F u bungie and shadowkeep just plain sucks.
-
5 RepliesI 100% disagree. Shadowkeep, considering that forsaken and TTK were only $5 more, feels like a scam and I’m ashamed to have bought it. Bungie doesn’t deserve praise for doing the least amount of effort required for an expansion.
-
Shadowkeep hasn't hit it's peak yet, since a lot of content from it hasn't come out yet. 3 exotic quests are still on hold, the raid hasn't launched yet as well as the dungeon, and transmog isn't out as well. I can't judge the DLC yet since we haven't had the whole DLC given to us. What praise can be given though is New Light. I believe New Light has delivered more for Destiny than Shadowkeep has, since armor stats, mod slotting, artifacts, new level "cap", crucible rework, pve weapon reworks, and season rewards has so far been tied to New light, not Shadowkeep. Shadowkeep has been very small as it is now, and seems like the season of undying has been doing everything, and Shadowkeep was just the lectern and a new campaign, which sounds like a glorified season setup as a big campaign like Forsaken or TTK

I've been playing since Destiny 1 almost daily except for a month break between D1 and D2. Seems pretty close to the same, whats made it so fresh?
-
Agreed! Thank you so much for saving me money :D
-
Every dlc is fresh the first couple days. Give it a month and see the full scope of content and then come back
-
to be fair, forsaken was a good dlc too, kinda sad that they lost so much fate from players after CoO and warmind, so didnt sell well and not many original players got to play it.. but yea, praise is valid just like critisism. I didnt bought shadowkeep and still waiting a bit further on the line. cause after annual pass, im still not convinced, i dont like this dirty tactic they learned on annual pass of time gating content to extend the lifespam of the dlc. but good to hearn some people enjoy it.

6 RepliesEdited by Haunter: 10/3/2019 11:54:16 PMEvery content drop feels fresh week 1 lmao Forsaken was slightly higher priced and had far more content - hopefully the upcoming dungeon and raid are huge or there is a ton of extra content coming :/
-
HaVoK308 You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
-
Not knocking your opinion at all, but I have to ask; since TK? Really? I thought Forsaken was a great time, even if I didn’t really grind it that hard.
-
Posts like this pop up after every content release... give it a few more days and you'll be back on the hate wagon
-
Sometimes praise is necessary.. this isn't one of those times.

I like the quality of life changes to Crucible. Specifically, I don't think I lose as much when my entire team quits. Oh, and the modes. I like the modes more than the other, but I know that will probably differ. Ah! The universal armor ornaments is great.
-
Too early... pretty good so far.
-
I feel it’s a little too early for that personally. I’ve not seen enough to say I’m happy with my it completely. I’m almost at 900 and haven’t drop any new weapons. pvp feel similar with all the same guns being use. Still got plenty to see from shadowkeep im just hoping there is some good replay value, and reasons for me to farm for the perfect 2.0 amour build. I’m holding judgment for now

6 RepliesYeah I think me and you have gotten different versions of shadowkeep. Now I haven't been able to play loads yet due to life, what I have played of shadowkeep is alright but everything else is just a bunch of reskinned armour, pay to win, blatant tactics used to encourage you to pay more money and laziness. Its shocking that Bungie never officially announced that the season pass is account linked, this has lead to a large number of people, myself included having to spend more money to play the content we thought we had paid for. Also they never discouraged people thinking that the free tract would actually be full of items. Instead you a nice chuck of stuff for the first 20 levels and then nothing. Just the occasional bright engram. This is the worst pay to win/blatant tactic to make people pay more for the content I have ever seen. Bungie really have dropped the ball on this. Considering the price you pay they could have actually given us a decent amount of content. Instead the content is mostly cosmetic and hidden behind pay walls. How this is supposed to encourage new players I will never know.
