Playing Destiny on Ubuntu on Steam
Hello there,
I know that Destiny 2 and espacially Shadowkeep is a game made to play on windows.
Several years ago i uninstalled windows because it gave me headaches with all the unnecessary updates and complications. I switches to Ubuntu for working purposes and gaming just in the back of my mind.
Now i want to play shadowkeep on steam and i see i NEED windows for it.
But there is a tool for steam to play games on ubuntu.
Now my question (finally...): do i get banned if i try this tool, it‘s called SteamProton, and play shadowkeep on my ubuntu OS?

i haven't looked at ubuntu for a few years but do they support any sort of virtual machine that you could install windows on?

Windows is required. Attempting to play the game on any other operating system by using any sort of layered or emulations can cause your account to become banned.
