The "Ukraine whistle blower scandal" just keeps getting dumber.

Using the Presidency for personal enrichment. 2. Acting as if our laws don’t apply to him, while his lawyers literally argue in court that he is above the law as President. 3. Holding our foreign policy hostage to his personal agendas. 4. Being Vladimir Putin’s b1tch. What he did was indefensible even if there was some evidence of wrong doing on the part of the Biden’s. It’s doubly so when there isn’t any....it’s being done for naked , corrupt self-interest.., ....oh and it’s illegal. The solicitation of an illegal act is criminal conspiracy. ...and impeachable offense. But the GOP sold its soul 20 years ago. So Trump is right. He could murder someone and you drones would still support and defend him unconditionally.

Best part is NYT was forced to report on J Biden getting the prosecutor in a case against Hunter Biden fired... while he was VP... hooooweeee Rick... I really cant wait for the transcript to get released. Fun fact the whistleblower complaint is based entirely on a hearsay, meaning it's not actually a whistleblower complaint, just a rumor... lawl!!!! Wouldn't it be funny if the transcript had no mention of J Biden? I'd die of laughter.

I'll be taking a quote from the OP so we can address things more directly. [/quote]This is true, the US did threaten to withhold aid from Ukraine, but not because of any investigation. The prosecutor in question- one Viktor Shokin- was the one "ousted" but not solely due to the US. He was the prosecutor general of Ukraine, but there was a consensus of Western nations that were concerned about Shokin. They believed that he was a critical figure in the corruption that permeated within the Ukrainian government. Eventually, the Ukrainian Parliament voted to remove him. In regards to the investigation Shokin had going on- it is believed that it was already suspended by the time Biden began to threatening to withhold aid. After Shokin was removed, Biden had no part in interfering with any investigations afterwards.
