Do you think reskinned armor sets should pass as DLC endgame content?

Why does a new raid have to have a reskin of that armour though? If they are going to reskin they could have brought back vog armour from d1 or something. Also if they want to reskin to save time, ok I see the point. But don't do this instead of content, do it along with content.

3 RepliesIm going to be honest here, it depends on the armor set and what they do with it. Would i be THRILLED to have the VoG AoT armor as the new raid armor, with a few alterations? HELL YES. Am i okay with them reskinning an EV set and making it raid armor? NO. D1 had a ton of awesome armor sets that arent in D2, especially for Warlocks. I would LOVE to have my Immanent War helmet back, or the old trenchcoat warlock robes. Or maybe the Neuroghast armor for hunters? That set looks awesome. I dont care if content is returning from D1 as long as it gives us more variety and is actually worth obtaining. I think you are massively oversimplifying this question, and failing to take into account how much smaller the team is now without Activision support. Strategically bringing back old armors is the most efficient thing they can do now, but i do agree raid armor should almost always be original.

17 RepliesSHUT UP, about D1, and reskins. Taken king came out 1 year after release, that's all they were working on for 1 year. The 2 dlc's were already completed from year 1. They churned out 1/20 of the content in D1 then they do now. Do you want God dam new armor , or do you want content. Yeah I know it's their jobs to just make stuff for you 24 hours a day.

1 Replywhy is this just now an issue its been like this since the start of d2 most armor are reskins. such as all of the raid armors except the leviathan and eater of worlds armor are reskins. like the crown armor except the helmet is the menagerie armor with a little change but you want to complain about an armor set that is the new raid set. we compare it to the taken king armor because it was the most original thing bungie has come out with for a destiny dlc.

3 Repliesa) It's an expansion not a DLC. $35 vs $10. b) Everything is reskinned not just the raid armor, I mean we've been to the moon before. I spent so much time there already. c) What do you think they spent all their time working on that will actually make the game better? They either having nothing or have been hiding some large secrets. That being said $35 isn't much for a game we play for hours. I personally might not be playing for a few months, since there are other games coming out.
