Cross Save For 2 different account, same user name and emails for both
With Cross Save coming soon, I'm finding it hard to choose which of my 2 accounts I'd like to be my main. On Xbox, I have a lot of items and progression that I don't have on PC since I started that account well into Forsaken. I don't mind playing two different accounts as I was doing up until now, but my main concern is will I be able to log into both of these accounts as separate when Cross Save happens despite having the same gamer tag and email linked to both? I purposely unlinked the accounts as well but will there be any login issues when Cross Save goes live? Or will i be forced to chose one or the other? This would be so much easier if merging was a thing. Or if we were at least guaranteed to get that stuff we're missing from one on the other?

If you link the two accounts to the same Bungie profile, and then activate cross-save, you will have to choose one single account as your only available character set. This would leave the other set of characters unavailable to play, as their save data would be made dormant. If you want to continue having access to both sets of characters and save data, but be able to play them on multiple platforms; you’ll need to be a touch bit creative. My PC characters are on this Bungie profile, but my Xbox characters are on a different profile. My Xbox profile is linked to a separate Battle.net account, and Steam account, from my current PC characters. Xbox allows you to have multiple accounts on the same console, sharing game licenses, and I’m hoping that Destiny will work with Steam’s family sharing.
