So I have a dilemma. The 2019 triumph seal would be my first seal in D2. That is, if the last triumph I need would count. The last on is winning a gambit prime match with a full set of notorious armor. Now, I have won multiple matches with the full armor. However, they're not of the same set. This is irritating because there are other gambit triumphs the specify you wearing a whole set. For the 2019 triumph it just says "notorious armor." Now to my knowledge, this event ends on the 28th which means I have until Wednesday. However, that doesn't change the fact that bungie's vague triumph description has caused me to fall short on this.
I have 2 current soultions:
1. I get an invader chest and legs, but I don't have enough invader tokens to grind reckoning enough to get those pieces.
2. On Tuesday I get my notorious reaper head and win one game and call it a success. (That's provided the event actually ends on Wednesday.)
I need some help, advice, something, anything, bungie doesn't seem to really look at these forum posts so I'm hoping the community can give me some guidance.

3 RepliesIt has to be a full set as it specifies, you can’t mix and match, there’s no glitch
-
You should of already had a full set by now considering they made an entire dlc invovling it. Your best best is to get the armor you need the least for. Grind gambit for your tokens.

2 RepliesThat's pathetic.

2 RepliesEdited by marcran75: 8/26/2019 7:42:38 AMNot too bright are you? A ”full set” means having all pieces of the same armor. Full reaper, full collector, full invader or full sentry. Not that difficult to figure out.
-
1 ReplyIt doesn't matter what it "says." Clearly any reasonable person would understand that it's a full SET. Mismatched is not a set.
-
"Wearing a full set" No, mismatched pieces are not a full set. Shouldve paid attention better. You had a long time to realize your mistake and amend it.
-
I feel like you said "however" alot. I know I'm wrong I'm just saying.
-
I would have thought that was a given
-
So why dont you grind gambit for invader tokens. With bounties it shouldn't take long. For the most part reckining gives you the gear you are missing first before random pieces.
-
I assumed it was a full matching set. Having 5 random peices that dont match doesnt really make sense to me, but whatever. I got it done pretty fast (maybe a couple of matches), but i have full sets of a few sets of armor.
-
If you are not wearing a full set, clearly you are not going to complete the activity. Figure out which set you have the most pieces for, grind out the last few pieces. PUT THE WHOLE SET ON and win a match. An invader piece is NOT part of the collector set. A collector piece is NOT part of the reaper set. Do I have to say it: a reaper piece is NOT part of the sentry set. You understand by now, I hope.
-
I think the wording could be changed to " full matching set" for clarity's sake. For instance, you can have a set of quintuplets that are identical, but could also be not identical.
-
Not much advice to give dude, you'll need a full set. Obviously you'll need to go for whatever set is nearly complete, and with a helm. Pray rng is kind. Good luck.
-
Advice: - insert logic here.
-
So instead of critically thinking about the situation, you come here to complain. If it doesn’t work without a full set then obviously you’re doing something wrong. Stop assuming everything is glitched or broken just because you can’t get it when you acknowledge your own misunderstanding. Morons.

You have until the 17th of september. Just get that Reaper head.
-
It ends on the 17th I thought
-
Moments of Triumph has been extended until September 17. You have plenty of time for either one of your options.
-
Edited by Demon_XXVII: 8/26/2019 2:30:29 PMBungie have extended the timeframe to obtain the MMXIX seal As long as you have the FULL Majestic Solstice set (which is needed to complete two of the seal triumphs) and runs out this Tuesday (August 27th) Then you have until 17th Sept to obtain a full Notorious (all 5 armour parts) of a Reaper/Collector/Invader/Sentry set ....completing the SEAL Triumph Crack on with Reckoning and just go for whichever armour you already have the Notorious helmet for!
-
You got till September 17th now, as they extended it with the delay of shadow keep. That being said, I'd just get the reaper helmet, but use invader synths in the process if you have enough.
-
Reckoning is piss easy and doing the sets just as easy. (Collectornthe longest) I have done all sets of outlawed, notorious and whatever the other one is called on all 3 characters. Try focusing on getting the gear again on the notorious helmet you have.
-
They need to be a set you can't mix notorious gear.. Reaper head invader arms collector boots don't work
-
It clearly says, “wearing a full set of Notorious armor” not “wearing all Notorious armor.”
-
Synths are actually quite easy to get, run all the Prime bounties on all characters and as well as playing Prine itself, you’ll get more than enough
-
As long as you got a legendary set of gear and master worked one piece of armor you can complete the other triumphs for the seal up until September 17th. I dont think you can really be mad at the wording of the triumph it says a full set which can be assumed as a full set of any of the four sets, if you mix and match its not a full set.
