Me and my two sons play. we are D1 vets and have been. We wont be anymore if the 90 day thing isnt fixed.

I bought another licence so that I could play on PC with my kids. I accidentally authorized on of their accounts instead of my own. the PUNISHMENT? wait 90 days. There is no support people to talk to. Just dead space. I am contacting Amex fraud protection to get my D2 money back for the recent account i bought and we shant be buying Shadowkeep. This is literally ridiculous and makes me wonder about Bungie going solo....

If you'd like to suggest a reduction in the wait time for this first week while things are getting ironed out, I'd highly suggest heading over to Destiny 2 - Feedback and either joining one of the posts there concerning it or starting up your own. That's the best place for this type of feedback, as that's where the teams look for people who are wanting changes made or for ideas of changes to make. - I would not suggest that you commit fraud by claiming Bungie stole your money when in fact you received the product you paid for. Sadly, your mistake with the cross-save system does not constitute fraud on Bungie's part in any way; Bungie had no control over what accounts you chose to connect and authenticate. The 90 day security measure is to keep people from hopping accounts for various reasons, some of which have been mentioned, some of which most likely haven't. Sadly, a mistake was made and got caught by the security measure. I can understand the frustration at realizing the issue after the fact and then having to deal with the wait time. - After you've left your feedback over in the Feedback forum, try to take the steps so you can be prepared just in case Bungie makes some changes (or in case you decide to wait out the 90 days). For your first step, you can disable the cross-save on all three of your accounts and then unlink and relink the accounts necessary to get everything back on the Bungie.net profiles that go together. As you're dealing with cross-save and older characters, this implies that you and your family own Destiny 2 on a system other than the one you were intending to play on. While waiting out the 90 day cooldown period before re-enabling cross-save, you can still play with your characters fine on that system. Alternatively, you can play with new characters on the system you were wanting to play on just to get a feel for it (if you hadn't played on it yet). When you enable cross-save later on, you'll be able to use your original characters again. Once the 90 day period has lapsed, please take your time and methodically re-enable cross-save for your account and your children's account, making sure to clearly read and authenticate the accounts that you actually intend to use so that you can avoid the issue in the future. Then you'll be all set and good to go without any major issues. - Good luck, Guardian, to you and your children. I hope things can work out for you. The cross-save feature is still new for Destiny 2, so there still may be room for changes and improvements and Bungie is generally open to ideas, thus why the Feedback forum exists (even if people sometimes think it doesn't work).

    • They have that security measure in place for a reason. It's not bungies fault in any way that the wrong account was linked

Hey hi! samething just happen to me.. but worse I didnt select my main accoun and now alll my characters are gone until I unllink the cross save thing.. but I cant cause I have to wait 48 days because some silver I got llike 2 months ago.. but wait a second then I have to wait 90 days! to activate cross save again! .. so I spent money buying everything for PC to play in January of 2020! as you said we are humans and we make mistakes! we are not doing something wrong like cheating or stuff like that. All I ask is a reset so I can start over and link my account because I play since D1 too.. got not forgotten and mountaintop on ps4 and want to play on the laptop that I just spent 3.3k to just play destiny 2 plus all the hours I spent on the game... plus the real money I spent buying stuff from eververse… and no even a place where I can create a ticket or something.. also they didn't say nothing about silver locking your account... EDIT: for the guardians that are talking trash https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/253291706?sort=0&page=0
