All the new changes sounds good, but you got to wonder, what didn't they tell us. Like brightdust what else is BD going to be used for besides the EV store, and infusion material costs, and what will be added to the infusion costs, I might be nitpicking, I'm curious.

Nope, I pre ordered.
-
1 ReplyI’ve already pre ordered the deluxe edition
-
Nope I'm buying, but i'd be very careful about how Blizz links with Steam. Hopefully there's no account details on Blizzard servers as they have THE WORST security ever.

You looked death in the eyes and spat in them, you fiend.

Sort version - I'll give them a shot with Shadow keep but I'm not getting any season pass. I'll get what season I want when I want. They can FOMO it all they want, I'm burned out in the caring department. I'm mostly done with Eververse. I'll say it again, it feels like Bungie wants to keep their cake and eat it too. First dlc like in D1 was too hard that's why they made Eververse, then seasonal content was too stressful and grindy for them... And now they want to turn it into a pseudo MMO without the base content of one or the ability to provide MMO like expansions. I said I'd give them one more shot and I'll get Shadowkeep.. but I've cancelled my deluxe version and settled for the base one. The Directors cut didn't inspire me with much confidence. The fact that they had content problems with other studios helping them out doesn't help while looking at a solo future. The thing about content and rewards going away is also something I'm not looking forward to. Also I'm severely going to limit my exposure to Eververse. I don't agree with how most things are/ will be handled so I'm going to take a brake from offering the store much attention. Also if D3 doesn't have dedicated servers and/ or skips features (most that were reintroduced from D1) I'm not getting it at all. At best when it's more than half off on sale.

You are the consumer. You can wait as long as you like.
-
No. I love everything I'm seeing so far and I'm locked in for October 1st along with seasons 9 - 11.
-
I'll probably get it since its the only game I play, hoping it will be good, just like I hope each dlc will be good, yet I'm at the point where I'm playing once a week if that and not interested in triumphs or the solstice armor, sooo Ya getting it with little faith it will be very good
-
Definitely going to wait, been stung too many times already
-
I already preordered, so no, I won’t be waiting
-
I got money and not a whole lot to spend it on. Might as well buy it

13 RepliesIn the handful of times I’ve asked for help getting seeds it’s gone unanswered. I still haven’t fully developed my characters. There’s got to be a better way. I’m on sideline for now. Maybe this is wrong but I’d rather not have to use google to play this game, also.

1 ReplyEdited by Marasovs Sweat Particles: 8/20/2019 1:06:35 AMD1 vet here im not excited at all anymore bungo has ruined all the good will in me
-
I am going to wait, I am tired of giving them chance to fix Destiny 2. I do not want to have to wait until March 2020 and beyond before they fix their mistakes from the release.
-
6 RepliesI haven't played D2 since March and won't be getting Shadowkeep, but waiting is a good idea for those still into the game. As long as preorder numbers remain high, developers have no reason whatsoever to stop clowning players.
-
Crucible changes aren’t going to do jack. Quickplay will still be people running stacked to pubstomp, sbmm control will be Iron Banner without the rewards. If the story is lackluster and unrepeatable as it has been the past two years I’m out.
-
After this solstice cash grab im not really interested in even playing this game. Netflix is more appealing. Maybe after a solid reveal ill make up my mind about moving forward with this game. These free to play mobile games seem to be more fun lately.

15 RepliesExtra grind added because they can’t keep up with content. Old recycled stuff (moon and old enemies). Taking away content after seasons to try and force players to play for fear of missing out. Outrageous silver / bright dust prices and putting anything cool looking behind eververse. ‘We hate enhancement cores’, so they add TWO extra items needed for armor upgrades. The director’s cuts actually made me LOSE interest in the game, they didn’t hype me up at all. I really feel like Bungie has lost the plot with the directions they’re heading.
-
Insane- do the same thing over and over expecting different result Bungie motto nothing good ever comes from captain donuts having something to say
-
I'm going to throw my money at the screen, stuff dollar bills into my DVD drive (yes I still have those) and every single orifice on my PC.
And I'll do that because no matter how much I throw or stuff money into or at my PC, Bungie won't get a single cent until I input my credit card info.
-
Edited by name: 8/20/2019 10:09:44 AMdefeat the "fear of missing out" guys , no games should be preordered or bought day1 in todays age of live service games
-
3 RepliesI'm waiting. Everybody should. If the community wants change, Bungie has to feel the heat. Bungie has to TRULY realize that if they don't give their community what they want, their game and company will disappear.

1 ReplyEdited by -blam!-: 8/20/2019 4:57:26 PMAt this point in time I have to say that is a maybe, leaning heavily toward no. I have not seen enough about shadowkeep to make a well informed decision about it yet, and with what bungo have been doing with expansions, ev, infusion and such, it needs to look really good for me to even consider.
-
Borderlands will keep me busy for sure. I'll wait and see what the first impressions will be with Shadowkeep and buy it in November or around Christmas. I'm not too excited to grind for all my stuff once again. Rather grind for guns with legs and other fun stuff first :)

Edited by Kemaleon: 8/20/2019 2:25:36 PMNot pre-ordering and still undecided wether to buy at all. Pre-ordering gets us unfinished games.
