Hello,
I have a fairly easy question. Does destiny 2 on pc have built-in support for the dualshock 4?
Im gonna play a lot on pc when cross save comes out and I would like to play on my couch with my pc hooked up to my tv. Using a controller makes things a lot easier.
Then answer to this will decide if I get a Xbox One controller or use the dualshock 4 controller which I already have.
Thank you!

4 RepliesHey there. While others below have said you can use the PS4 controller with a cable, I believe you need an adapter to play wirelessly.

For people who read this in the future with the same question: It works better than expected with USB-cable. You even get extra aim-assist as you get on PS4. The game recognizes it as a Dualshock 4 controller and all button prompts etc will be with Dualshock 4 buttons. Connecting via bluetooth was a diffirent experience, although the USB-cable results show that it has to do with the PC-end of things and not Destiny 2. Bluetooth recognizes it as an "wireless controller" in my case, not responding in-game unless I use DS4Windows which makes the game/my pc recognize the controller as an Xbox One controller. Thus using its button layout. It works.. but I recommend using an extended USB-cable. It absolutely works like a charm, so really... hats of to you, Bungie! Very few developers do it this good.

Yes. You can use your PS4 or Xbox controller on PC. Wired is best but you can also use the bluetooth from your PC and connect it. Enjoy guardian

6 RepliesHello, Yes you can use a wired Xbox or PS4 controller to play Destiny 2 on the PC. You might be able to use them wirelessly but the PC might need a special wireless adapter.
