Did the bounty for the invader helm. So i did my 4 runs of tier 3 reckoning got all my kills in Gambit claimed my bounty and what do I get? outlawed helm. not a notorious, and outlawed. why is this a thing? Does the helm drop into the normal drop pool after unlock? if not this is rigged since the bounties are weekly not daily. this is getting too much for me. This game constantly feels like its working against me and not rewarding me. I wouldn't mind if I had to get another bounty and try again, but limiting my attempts because its a bounty is rubbish and badly structured for players who are short on time

7 RepliesIt’s not broken. I hope I can explain this well for you to understand. Before you do any of the helmet bounties and before you upgrade your synthesizer, all of the armor that drops is the weakest set. When you upgrade your synthesizer, you are upgrading the drops from the Reckoning (which isn’t the helmet). Those can now drop as Outlawed. Let’s say you did the Reaper Helmet bounty for your synthesizer upgrade. That gave you an Illicit helmet. The following week, you do the Reaper helmet again to get the powerful synthesizer. Now all of your Reckoning drops are Notorious and you got an Outlawed Reaper Helmet. On the third week, you decide you’ll go for all four of the helmets just to get them all done. You do Reaper first. You get a Notorious Helmet. You do Invader next. You get an... Illicit Helmet? And the other two also drop Illicit Helmets. You figure it a fluke, do the three again next week and get all Outlawed helmets. Now you’re just frustrated. On the final week, you get all Notorious helmets. In short, the helmets quality isn’t based on how upgraded your synthesizer is, it is based on how many Helmet Upgrade bounties you’ve done for that role. First Time: Illicit Second Time: Outlawed Third Time: Notorious
