So, we all saw the well of radiance nerf coming at some point. And unfortunately for some people it's a terrible decision.
On one hand, it is.
On the other it isn't.
I would usually say we need to trust bungie but...
From the small part I saw... striker titans are still going to remain OP ( I only saw a small portion, if I'm wrong... feel free to tell me )
That's going to make PvP unplayable for some people.
Back to PvE, what are your thoughts on the nerf to the well as I'd love to see how different people reacted.
FYI I'm a hunter... been a hunter since the d1 beta.

I’m sure all roaming supers are being re-evaluated and by then, I won’t be here anymore. Sick and tired of nerfs and garbage PvP involvements.
-
Edited by AlphaLion42: 8/19/2019 12:07:13 AMActually Luke Smith made two or three references to the Striker Titan. He even made a quip how heavy ammo can’t stop them lol. I get what you mean tho.
-
7 RepliesExcept they did address it in the director's cut...
-
4 RepliesLuke just announced Super changes that heavily affect Crucible (and by extension PvE) in the Director's Cut Pt III

1 ReplyEdited by Corbin1234: 8/17/2019 1:49:36 PMHow’d you know about the well nerf but completely miss the defense nerf to all roaming supers Also Hunter main crying about other classes how original
-
Yes all supers are getting duration nerf but only thing I saw was that well will not stack with other dmg buff just like weapons of light won’t stack with tether and to me that is ok

-
10 RepliesThey're going to adjust roaming super damage resistance....and once that happens we'll see more Blade Barrage and Shadowshot. The former is broken AF in PvP.
-
8 RepliesWell isn't getting nerfed, damage stacking is. As for striker, damage resistance is being toned down in shadowkeep, plus, we don't have the full patch notes, so it might get nerfed.
-
I really hope they don't nerf it just because try-hard Datto cries about it. I love the well of radiance and it lets me run full support without guilt, just like I like to do in other games.
-
2 RepliesAll roaming supers are being re-evaluated and adjusted, trust me, they're all getting nerfed.
-
Super armour is being nerfed so it's easier to team burst a roaming down. They want people to stay and fight rather than run and jump off the map. People will need to be more careful about using their super they said. Using it smarter.

7 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Araphel: 8/16/2019 7:45:31 PMNot saying git good or trying to patronize you but use arcstrider. Arc strider is in my opinion and from experience one of the better super v. super subclass. Just light attack and then heavy nothing can survive it except thundercrash and you don't want to 1v1 burning maul. I striker just needs a tweak but not a nerf. Either reduce the time to accommodate the super extension or give the super extension the gwisin treatment in otherwords 3 or more opponents for the extension.

Read todays directors cut.....a lot is changing regarding supers.
-
There is a problem with physics, hit registration, lag, cheaters, way more serious than Nerfs right now. Take my video for instance, watch the blade barrage hit all around and on the other hunter as he takes absolutely no damage. Bungie has some bigger fish to fry
-
11 RepliesDon't worry, you nerf callers have already got them nerfed. You can breathe a sigh of relief. Congratulations on making the game suck.
-
But it's ok for hunters to throw knives around corners? Stop crying.
-
2 RepliesI guess schedules and reminders that literally list when they’ll talk about said topic doesn’t matter
-
2 RepliesOh dont worry, the roaming supers nerf is coming, and coming soon. They already said as much. Question will be how bad, and will shut down supers just be better overall with consistency. If we are able to melt roaming supers, they will die a painful death.
-
Striker being able to spam it's light attack just makes it too hard to hit. But otherwise it's so easy to shut down because of how linear it is, at least compared to how pre nerf spectral blades was. With the armor nerf in shadowkeep, we should see it being easier to shutdown like the rest of the supers. With how linear striker is, it won't be difficult to put it down if it's armor drops to the 50% area.
-
15 RepliesSo being able to out run a striker titan is that hard for you that you cry nerf ?
-
Another few weeks of this and then it’ll get addressed. Until then, shotgun their faces. It does work, in their super. Kills them.
-
I believe they said pvp is getting a complete overhaul. So I would assume the op supers and the insane amount of them per match will be dealt with.
-
18 RepliesEdited by Knavenformed: 8/16/2019 1:04:07 PMThe Warlock sun sword is better than Striker. Striker is a mostly a grounded slow opponent. Far easier to shut down with your own super or a special weapon than a Warlock flying 100km/h in the air while shooting out giant instakill projectiles that continue on ground and refund the super. "Striker can run a lap round the map though" Pay attention, be ready. While Striker has done one lap if you let it, the Warlock is already on their second. They nerfed Striker's 0 super slam combo already, it's far harder to maintain now. Use your ears more than your radar. The radar blink can be anything, while a stomping sound followed by electrical crackle is far more noticeable.
-
In pve striker should stay the same. But in pvp.... That’s... That’s -blam!-ed up....
-
7 RepliesThe problem isn’t necessarily the super itself but the maps are just too damn small for 6v6 meaning you can wipe the enemy team and then run off to their spawn and get them again. Had we bigger maps (I’d like to say good maps too but hey this is destiny after all lmao we know better than that) I don’t think it’d be a problem
