Is it just me or does the creative team put more thought into making more unique sparrows and ghost shells than actual armor?

Ok now that we’re through with the pictures.
I’m going to ask why is so much effort put into designing cosmetic items that go into a cash shop?(yes is do understand that it’s still earned with bright dust but it’s still cosmetic items!!!!!)
Bungie please, it would send me to the moon and back(perhaps a few other players as well) to really make your armor sets stand out more.
I think Another result of the armor looking like this would be the creative choice as well.
Destiny 1 armor had more of a sci-fi feel that made it like a futuristic space soldier sci-fi adventure. Destiny 2 is too based off some fantasy world, it’s not what the world/universe of destiny was built off of.
What do you all think? I’d like to know down below, as well as hope to get a response from bungie; regarding how they will change up the creative choice in the near future.
Thank you all for reading!

I play Titan and honestly I've only enjoyed the look of two sets for this class and that was from Scourge of the Past raid and the seeing city world drop armor
