All the armor in destiny 2 looks like trash like almost every piece. Create cool armor sets not these goodwill thrift store lookin armor sets.

In 2023 root of nightmares the gear looks like boy George designed it, god awful fugly. Come up with better cosmetics for gear design I mean if you could just show the consumers what we are buying before hand ..no point in the raid if the cosmetics aren't there .
-
Oh, I imagine it’s going to get a lot worse. Cosmetics and ornaments going exclusively to the Eververse? Now the designers can make the armor look even worse, and push players to the Eververse to make our Guardians look good. 🙄

12 RepliesI'm tired of armor that has so many pockets and packs that it looks like a 1990s Liefeld character. I'm tired of Titans looking fat and depressed, while also having to deal with the massive burden that is their shoulder pads. Looking like a parody or caricature of themselves from D1. Whatever happened to the bad ass space soldier that looked like a cross between Halo Spartans, and a space marine. I'm tired of Warlocks going everywhere in -blam!-ing prom dresses, with excessive amounts of tiny knick knacks sticking out of their gear, instead of the overcoat/duster wearing dark fantasy wizards of space. I'm tired of Hunters looking like them came out of the crap shoot, looking like chickens (crucible set), and somehow forgetting what a cloak is and instead borrowing a blanket from their sweet aunt Petunia to cover the excessive amount of rust, shit stains, and odd design choices that constitute their armor. What happened to the space faring knife fighting gunslinging bad asses? We used to have Knights, Wizards, and Assassins. Now we have fatass, airy fairy -blam!-, and garbage child.

1 ReplyI would like my guardians to have combat boots, like geomags not pirate weird nose up ugly shoes.
-
Calm down karen and i'll go get the manager for you...
-
3 RepliesWhom ever is responsible for designing the Titan armor in this game, clearly has a chip on there shoulder or they grew up watching Dynasty and developed a unhealthy obsession with ridiculously large shoulder pads.
-
Agreed

1 ReplyNever wish for someone to get fired. Families are involved. Anyways, I would like to see all armor updated to 2.0 in the coming months. I do think the Warlock armor needs to look more sinister. They have the ugliest setup INMO.
-
Not all of the armor looks bad, some people enjoy the excessively large shoulder plate but I do think they should make some armor for the Titan that doesn’t make them look blocky (such as the Solstice shoulder plates). However there is armor that looks good if you get the right color combinations, if you don’t like the armor for that Class (Titan, Hunter or Warlock) simply make a new character and use the equipment available to them instead.
-
I kinda agree, I remember in D1, everyone had legendary armor that would look SICK (mainly raid armors but still) and in Destiny 2 the armors kinda look... plain, now yes there's more shaders (and more better looking shaders) but that still can't completely make the armor look like D1
-
Generally and art director has to approve designs before they go live, so... Broaden the art directors horizons?
-
1 ReplyWarlock armor has become a meme at this point ffs
-
Your opinion only! You have no idea judging from your post .
-
Did you see those moon outfits? Probably worse than Scatterhorn, and that's saying a lot.
-
7 RepliesLot's of the armour sets look cool. especially the one's that look like they are made of scavenged materials
-
Don’t ask of someone to be fired even if it’s a joke. People need to provide for their families. They’ve never wronged you in any way.
-
-
Yeah, sure we'll hire new peeps!! Hmm are you going to cover the cost of our new employees Whiny little NerfHerder!!! That's what I thought!! Kiss my bumm!! Bungie CEO and Inc.
-
Thats why we are where we are soooo...hmm
-
80% of Titan gear looks mad garbage. Hunter helmets have been looking tasty tho, like that Crown of Sorrow one.
-
Yeah I had blue armour in D1 that looked massively cooler/nicer than any of the D2 amour. It’s like the designer lost all inspiration when D1 finished. Lol
-
Look, I haven't been super impressed with a lot of d2s armors, particularly the majority of the titan gear. But you shouldn't be trying to get people fired because they're tastes are different from yours. Maybe try a little empathy. Instead of "hire new armor designers" try "Get more in touch with the player base and offer a wider variety of armor."
-
Yeah alright Karen -blam!-ing cut your stomach open.
-
2 Replies"I have a valid complaint about the game, but rather than give an in-depth description of my opinion and offer alternatives/suggestions to improve the overall experience, I'd rather tell the company responsible for this game I'm playing to fire the very people who could make this change." Yeah. That'll bring about change. Good job.
-
Aside from the stupid suggestion of simply firing these people; you do understand that the artists probably have a stack of unapproved ideas that didn't make it into the game that are probably amazing. They don't just get to draw and instantly have it accepted.

Fire X employee is the gamer equivalent of "I want to speak to your manager".
