I’m a strong player and I do many pvp things solo because my clan already has done them. Im hovering around 3000 glory atm but that’s about the point where a team is necessary. And I don’t know how to find a group capable of reaching 5500.

While this video is more about obtaining unbroken, it’s a good video nonetheless about getting to legend as it’s a requirement for unbroken. Best of luck on your climb.

Just find a team of 7 others and cheat the matchmaking like 75% of other people playing comp.
-
Pay someone because after legend, comp is like 95% carriers who lag & cheat.

4 Repliesdont , title is stupid, outlaw on mida trash , nf has 3m more range then lunas but comes with recoil and a slow reload. There's no reason to go to 5500.

Play rumble, find people that play good, compliment them in a message and ask to party up.

I hear/feel ya. I'm in a clan that is on the cutting edge of the Bungie's quests as they dish them out and too low on the totem pole to partake. If it's a one time thing they don't do it again. Often times I feel like Charley looking from outside the window of the candy shop as Bungie sings the candyman while raining down chocolate from the ladder. I've joined 3 or 4 different discord groups in LFG for PVP and they were all bad.

The team I put together when I first got mine was people I met in quickplay. I tend to add people I find in rumble and qp that I think could be good in comp. Play with them for a couple of games, and if it doesn’t go well, try to find more people. It’s all about finding ppl you have good chemistry with, not necessarily the best players (although they should still be pretty good). Also try to join a good crucible clan (I’m not in one rn but have been) it gives you tons of people who are actually good at crucible to play with. And a huge benefit of being in a PvP clan is scrims. My old clan ran scrims almost every night and it’s just a way to get better. Playing good players in a competitive environment every night really helps up your skill. I know there are some decent players in the lfg section as well. Hope this helps :)
