Is there any way to just buy Forsaken?
I pre-ordered Destiny 2 digital deluxe, so I have the base game, as well as the first two dlc's. Now I want to buy forsaken, but my only option is to buy some stupid bundle that costs over $40 and comes with everything. I don't need the base game. I don't need the first two dlc's. I just want to buy Forsaken. I was on a live chat with blizzard support and they told me my options were to either just buy it, post on the bungie forums, or wait until it comes out on steam and just hope that I can buy it there.

You may read the responses and wonder why Forsaken by itself wasn't reduced in price. That isn't the issue, the issue was that the Complete Collection got a reduction in price and wouldv'e been redundant to sell Forsaken by itself and the Complete Collection for the same price, so the stand alone option was removed. You're basically getting the Annual Pass for free, while the Y1 content was already free with Forsaken.

The Forsaken expansion by itself, when offered by itself was $40. The Forsaken Complete Collection now includes Destiny 2 base, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, and Forsaken Annual Pass, all for the SAME EXACT PRICE of $40. Get that? You get not only Forsaken for $40, but you get everything leading up to Shadowkeep, so you are getting more and getting the Forsaken Annual Pass for FREE. The "stupid bundle" is the same price as Forsaken expansion was by itself. You buy the bundle but don't need the previous content, but you still get the Annual Pass for free. Why are people complaining? It is not more money for less content. It is the same price for much more.

the base game and year 1 stuff added nothing to the cost. Forsaken was $40 as a stand alone and the bundle is $40 and now includes the annual pass.

Forsaken and the bundle is what you get as the cheapest option. Not to mention to miss out on a lot of content not having the annual pass.

That "40$ bundle" is cheaper than Forsaken was at release considering it includes the annual pass too.
