Solstice Armor grind too much?
First off I'd like to say I came back to D2 at the start of Season 7 and honestly Bungie are doing a great job with content in general anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant or salty about something because that's just the internet for you.
Anyway onto the actual topic, as you can see I linked a KackisHD video and he makes a lot of good points/easy fixes to the solstice grind so if y'all agree with the changes he mentions maybe we should all fire this vid at bungie til they take head haha xD
My main issue with Solstice is that it's forcing players that hate gambit/PvP in general into gambit and honestly as someone who mainly plays gambit its kinda killing my fun of the mode. People are either hopping into G-Prime because its 1 round and losing on purpose when the enemy is a little bit ahead or there's the other kind of people that think they have to get the kills against guardians(although it says as a team) so they sit next to the invasion portal til you open it and hop through with all the heavy. The guardian kills can be done in crucible as well (I realize this) but because there's a challenge for 10 gambit matches its encouraging portal sitters.

P.S call me a casual or hate on me if you wish just means you're a petty person with too much free time haha

The event is open to everyone so hence why gambit is available to all. However, when it says complete 10 strikes. Why can't it not say complete 10strike/menagrie. Complete 10 heroic events/blind well. Complete 50 patrols/forges. At least for forsaken and annuel pass owner we get more freedom for being loyal.

Idk, if the grind is too much or it’s just too boring because it’s ultimately doing the same activities we’ve been doing since D2 launched. There is a reason I don’t play every activity playlist each week; they have become stale and had little to no updates over the last 12 months. Armor that will be made unimportant by random drops just playing Shadowkeep is not terribly engaging and tedious. I wish the Solstice armor was completely tied to the EAZ and that the space was more fleshed out in the activities available there.

Edited by ShowGun901: 8/5/2019 4:40:22 PMIts not "forcing" anybody to play pvp... top teir armor like this is a REWARD for taking part in pretty much every mode. If you never wanna touch pvp, fine. Bungie isn't gonna come to your house and beat you up. But having a reward that requires PARTICIPATION (not even effective participation lol) in a mode is a far cry from forcing you. You just wont get the reward, which is apparently a death sentence to some people. As far as AFKers, that's a community problem. People are just shit.
