Don't make the Mountaintop quest easier
The only reason people are complaining about the quest is because The Mountaintop is the best special weapon in pve.
If the quest becomes easier, it gives the Mountaintop a reason to be nerfed.
Long grinds for gear, especially pinnacle weapons, should reward unique, powerful and better gear than types similar to that reward.
If everyone gets Mountaintop because the quest becomes easier, the Mountaintop will have to be nerfed because everyone will be melting bosses (assuming they have access to rapid reloading perks or abilities).
Making the quest easier undermines all the time and hard work others have put in to get The Mountaintop.
I think the quest is fitting for such a good weapon and if you put in the time to acquire it, you will be happy you did so.

9 RepliesI'll be honest. I suck at competitive. I'll never get to fabled. Mountaintop, the recluse, lunas howl, not forgotten etc I'll never get them. I'm fine with that. Now how many people have cheesed mountaintop in brakedown? How many people have paid people to get them fabled in comp? If people didn't cheese mountaintop maybe the quest wouldn't be nerfed. The recluse will get a nerf soon. Why? People are paying people to get it for them and it's getting so over used in quick play. The players are to blame sadly.

I lost alot of close games when i used gl’s in comp and it was too time consuming to do it in qp. Pretty much everybody that got it in the last 5 months cheesed it anyway and i still see a bunch of kill lobby lfg posts. Maybe a reward like the prometheus/LoWs emblem would be nice for players that got mountaintop during black armory season.

I highly doubt they will make it too easy. Its still a pinnacle weapon. I do agree the one grenade or whatever it is kinda ridiculous for how much you need
