Games with micros are dying out? Wtf are you talking about? Microtranactions games make tons of money. Fortnite?
Borderlands 3 confirmed microtranactions, Rainbow six, CoD, CsGo, WoW, ESO, monster hunter, Battlefield.....there are so many out there.
Destiny has had players leaving for on reason or another since Destiny 1 launched, are you new here? Also tske a look at the quitters after an update, you'll see more the 50 percent still playing.
Destiny is also free to play in September so we just payed for early access, Activision wanted the money from sales.

I did say most of them will be still playing . And all those games you mentioned are loosing player count rapidly. Especially wow,fortnite,eso and cod. ADDITIONALLY if you dont fight for better games you will be geting worse and worse shit with more micro transactions and all that sticky crap. Wonder if there are games about microtransactions arleady

Opinions....I think Destiny is better than its ever been and looks even better for September. WoW has over a million subscribers a month paying 15 dollars for access. Fortnite is still one of the most popular games out there and I guarantee CoD will be the number one in sales this year and Borderlands will be 2nd in sales. You're crazy if you think microtranactions are going any where, King games is extremely profitable because of micros and so is Epic.

You also have "generic consumer" and "fan of the series" how many people you know play fortnite cause theyre a fan of it and not beacouse its popular. Or maybe you know one of those old call of duty fans that posted sick montages that still play the new ones? WoW is an addiction thats understandable but its still ending soon as the story has nowhere to go now. Borderlands is another special case cause of the whole epic thing

Wtf does that have to do with microtranactions? They are still part of the most popular games. WoW isn't going anywhere, they just launch the vanilla servers, and it's not that addictive because Activision pushed Blizzard to make it more accessible....sound familiar?

Anyways. To sum it up. If someone would fight for an solstice engram instead of more microtransaction. You would stand against it cause you specyfically dont need it? Even if it would have benefited everyone?

I would just play the game like I do now until the game doesn't interest me anymore. I don't care about micros, I don't care about cosmetics, I just enjoy playing more now than ever. I only comment here to be devils advocate because there is so much negativity it's sickening and these forums actually believe they represent to entire player base.

I already told you I like where the game is headed. I also don't like looking like a crybaby because he game developers are doing what they want to do with their game. If the game isn't for you move on, don't try and ruin it for those of us enjoying it. The free to play is going to bring in a large playerbase to replace the ones who leave. I post or agree with my minor concerns but microtranactions will never bother me, I'd support materials for dust and exclusive guns wouldn't bother me at all.
