How about merging accounts instead of cross save?
My PS4 account has all the stuff from Cayde's treasure maps, faction rallies, etc, while my PC account has Menagerie weapons, armor, etc.....
I feel like I'm missing out on stuff that's unobtainable now that I already got before.
I think everything should be obtainable or account merging should be added.
Plz, Bungo. :-(
update: My pc account won't have the delicious looking Prometheus Lens emblem and I'm even more sad :-(

We currently have account recoveries to deal with, can you imagine if these guys could just create a new (and now free) account, grind some pinnacle stuff and then sell it to merge with someone elses account? It would be a nightmare. And yes I know its not fair that genuine players like you who have payed for and played on 2 platforms should be denied this fairly reasonable function, but you can thank all the paid carryies and recoveries for that. Probably.

1 ReplyA large portion of the population did not want to lose their save data ( they wanted independent saves) cross save allows that while a merger would end up deleting the individual saves and from a dev standpoint separate is probably less problem prone . As much as I would like a merge I can see why they went with the cross save.
