Think about what higher tier investment you'd like for gear. (Armor perk enhancing, stat re-rolls, armor archetype re-rolls, etc) Consider that it is obtained via cores. (utilizing the available side grind and managing the resource amongst other similar level options like Masterworking) Now, do you see it being a huge interest in the community considering Infusion and the very likely reality that people will not sacrifice their ability to do it? (Will people [i]really[/i] use it? Ask Masterworks.) If that answer is no, then logically speaking, Core potential is deadlocked because of infusion. Try to think seriously btw and not troll.
