So, I did Warmind's story for the first time yesterday. Is it just me or do these expansion arcs keep doing this thing where they think they're in a summer blockbuster but they haven't done any of the work to like, warrant their own soundtrack, events, actions, or cutscenes? Like from what I got the whole thing was: (Warning, this will spoil all of warmind, immediately) [spoiler]Zavala: I don't like Rasputin, it's bad. Ana: You never let me activate godlike war satellites, I can't do anything with you here. I'm going to do the thing. Zavala: Please don't. *The player is also here.* Ana: Ok, how about this? Hive god. Big one. They even made a new model for it! It's a snake! Zavala: That's still a primitive with hive materials applied. Ana: I know but it's reeeeaallly powerful! Can I? Can I turn on the cybergod!? Zavala: There was a cutscene with the player character where the sock puppet threatened her. That's too far. We won't be allowing sock puppets to trouble guardians any longer. I will look aside my differences and allow the cyber war god to rise to full power to give us a nerf javelin. Together, we can complete a normal strike. *MICHAEL BAY'S SOUND GUY HAS A FIELD DAY* *SEQUENTIAL NORMAL ENEMIES* *INTERESTING THINGS OCCUR IN A SKYBOX IN APPARENTLY SOME OTHER VIDEO GAME* *F I N A L S O C K P U P P E T B A T T L E* Rasputin: I will defend humanity on my own terms. I am all, all is me, I am an undisputed god of war and I won't -blam!- up like you did at the start of D2. Zavala: Ouch. *Everyone laughs except the mute player, and scene.*[/spoiler] So yes, yes indeedy, I feel your feel.

What loot

I'm laughting at the "all my new loot" part. [spoiler]you know there's no real loot in this game....[/spoiler]

i did a strike with my fireteam a few weeks back and Ana goes, "youre going to need the javelin to pierce through his hide" and im just sitting there loading up my outbreak going "no, no not really.(murders xol in around 10 seconds) im starting to wonder why you think the most powerful weapon tech we're going to find is here on mars, when I got a gun from earth that murders him in around 1/1000 of the time."

The Valkyrie is mildly hot garbage. Was not really necessary.

Forgot which mission exactly but during warmwind Ana says you need to protect Rasputins nodes. That line kills me every time i hear it.

When the ghost talks about Xol being powerful, I'm pretty sure he's talking about physical strength. He says it when Xol literally smashes a bridge without even flinching. While other enemies we've fought are harder in terms of gameplay mechanics, Xol may very well be the most physically powerful out of them. After all, even Oryx didn't smash things by simply slamming his fist into them.
