301 RepliesThanks for the feedback. We'll let the team know that "Exotic Hand Cannon Fatigue" is thing within the community. Let us know what archetypes you would like to see more Exotics of in the future.
-
4 Replies4 auto rifles 3 pulse rifles 4 scout rifles 4 fusion rifles 3 linear fusion rifles 4 snipers 4 shotguns 1 machine gun 3 rocket launchers 1 sidearm 2 swords 4 grenade launchers 3 submachine guns 3 trace rifles 3 bows And 8 hand cannons Yeah we really need more new exotic weapon types especially machine guns and sidearms
-
Hand Cannons. Staggered line! They outnumber us, two-to-one! ... Then it is an even fight.
-
All the other weapon types: Exotic Hand cannons staggered line, Bungie they out number us 3 to 1. Bungie: then it is an even amount.
-
Also all besides last word and ace of spades don’t feee good on console
-
Trespasser, Monte Carlo and also Nlb please if we're talking about D1 exotics that need to return
-
2 RepliesBungie: we hear your feedback and we are bringing a new exotic sniper to the game in shadowkeep - in the shape of a hand cannon with a scope
-
6 RepliesTrue, but hand cannons also seem to be the community favorite. An immediate example of this which comes to mind is the countless number of people grinding for Austringer.
-
Give me pre nerf Hawkmoon first. Then you can chill with the Handcannons.
-
3 RepliesHell can Trace Rifles get some love lol. I'd love to see a Legendary Trace Rifle even...
-
2 RepliesFive of which have major lore implications. Which have arguably become more important to the state of Destiny's current narrative then any of the other architypes. And are essential symbols of Destiny's most intriguing protagonists. Not defending it exactly, just trying to provide that perspective.

I want a new exotic sidearm of some sort. Theres what rat king?
-
How about a bad juju or gjallahorn?
-
2 RepliesYou have a point, however handcannons feel so nice in this game
-
1 ReplyHc sucks on consoles and auto rifles are too boring to use like who the hell wants to hold down the trigger and let the aim assist do the rest
-
Edited by blade329: 7/3/2019 6:20:31 PMI wouldn't mind at all if they worked well on the PS4. Most of them don't. With the poor performance of the console, I always feel left out. So, I don't bother completing the quests. We need more variety or fix them on the console.
-
5 RepliesWe need exotic sidearms.
-
Bungie So you're saying move HC exotic to heavy slot? Good, we have some good news in Shadowkeep!
-
Add another to that list when shadowkeep comes out
-
5 RepliesI’m fine with hand canon they just need to reduce the range by 50%
-
I hear ya, but I want Hawkmoon.
-
Agreed. We need more exotic scout rifles. Our last one was Polaris Lance right? That was forever ago.
-
2 RepliesDon't care, I want my Hawkmoon. Gimme my hawkmoon.
-
I like hand cannons and use them a lot. But I agree with you. More diversity is needed.
-
1 ReplyIt’s sad because I completely agree with your post but I would have loved to see first curse and hawkmoon return I’d love for them to make an awesome sidearm that can tear things up. Rat king isn’t ideal as a solo player weapon

1 ReplyAs bad as it sounds I still do want HM back in D2. But I whole-heartedly agree, other weapon categories need exotics. Pocket Infinity, Super Good Advice, Dreg's Promise, No Land Beyond please for the love of god Bungo, Universal Remote, Necrocasm, and Vex Mythoclast, just to name a few D1 exotics that still have not been carried over. I'm all for new and fresh exotics, but you'd think D1 exotics would be easier to port and would then be the first option when it comes to scenarios like this.
