Nightfall Rotation is stagnant.
It's been 3+ weeks and still no Strange Terrain Nightfall Strike, yet Warden of Nothing, Garden World and Arms Dealer have become near permanent choices...
Instead of having only 3 viable options that seem to have been abandoned, why not give every Strike the option for Nightfall difficulty, and eliminate the extensive and disappointing wait times for a single mission?
EDIT: It seems our cries were heard, although the end result didn't pan out the way I had hoped. Good luck to those needing the Militia's Birthright.

All D2 rotations are stagnant. The majority of the time I get stuck a loop of the same 3 strikes or PvP maps over and over and over and over and over... and over.

Strange terrain was up like 3 weeks in a row in May. It’s like they get stuck and then disappear for months.

11 RepliesThere needs to be no RNG in the NF rotation. Instead, it should be a hard rotation where everything gets a fair 3 week window. For example: Week 1: Strange Terrain - Lake of Shadows - Exodus Crash Week 2: Lake of Shadows - Exodus Crash - The Corrupted Week 3: Exodus Crash - The Corrupted - Savathun's Song This would be the most predictable and fair way to do it. But that means Bungie never will do anything like this.

3 RepliesMaybe I'm missing something here. If you goto the planet, and it has the strikes you need, you can pick those still or no? I understand they're at lower levels thus a very low chance of getting a weapon you need. And yes, as for NF, I agree, we need more choices, if not all, for certain strikes.

I really think like crucible we really lack enough content. I have done all these strikes enough already. We should have a strike and a map no matter what with each season and 3 to 4 per dlc. Make the exotic quests into strikes too. I would prefer that to Another horde mode. Also. Make the strikes worth doing.

Couldn't agree more. This is yet another QoL change that simply a little commonsense can fix. Its just poorly designed. Either allow us to make any Strike a NF from the Directory, or manually choose NF 1, 2 and 3 for week 1, on reset. Then manually choose NF 4, 5 and 6 for week 2, again, on reset. Don't wait for months to pass, get called out on the NF repeats, then attempt to fix it a day after reset... you've done this before, and will surely do it again, but it has to stop. Intelligent design now to avoid problems later.

1 ReplyWe haven't had as new strike in 10 months, and there were only 3 new ones added then... and two of them are the most irritating strikes since that Captain with the ogre eye gun in D1. Everything that involves a Baron is unforgivably cheesy. That stupid dialogue in the Baron strike is atrocious, seems written by a 12 year old, and what's worse is the Baron continues talking long after he's dead and evaporated. This is why bosses never talked in D1. The only reason people still run it is the multikills at the end. The taken witch strike was crafted well, but the ball mechanic is frustrating with randoms because they don't seem to know they should pass it, and if you pass it to them they just throw it away. If you go in with a team it's merely an okay strike. Most of the earlier strikes are actually good, they're just stale.
