I’ve seen all those. The only one I don’t see mentioned regarding infusion is shards. I think the reason for that is only newer people have that problem. They’re more likely to just quit, and less likely to even know about the forum. Otherwise, I’ve seen all those here. It’s much harder to find now that the subforums were combined into the four we have now. Activity pushes them down. Personally, I think there are plenty of ways to earn glimmer. I just think that when costs increase, the cap should increase proportionately. I’m still wondering though, if you can answer my previous question. I’m not trying to be an ass. I legitimately want to know. I’d much rather be wrong about this.

  • I'm sure they've been mentioned a few times. However i dont think those topics ever reached the level as the multiple core threads until bungie approached them as spam threads and began removing them. Even then with the pinned posts it was centered around cores. If asking on how cores help the game with infusion, they don't. That being said though, they're not being removed either so why repeatedly ask them to be remove va something else? Even this conversation stems from that talking point vs shards or glimmer. Even the TWAB threads have cores still being brought up, not a anything else despite no on cores.

  • Yeah. I guess “no” is not a good enough reason to accept them. Then again, “no” as a reason has never been good enough to accept anything that doesn’t make sense.

  • But thats the case for how it is. So why not asking for something else?

  • As soon as you accept less than you deserve, you will increasingly get less and less. This is different from making a sacrifice that you know has a greater benefit. Look at the nerfs. I found the first whisper nerf to be unacceptable and unnecessary. As did most others. We went on because there were other weapons. Then they nerfed those and a bunch of exotic armor. Whether or not I agreed with or accepted it, they gave us a reason that said it was for the greater good. That was enough for some people. With cores, it’s just “no”. Well, at first it was meaningful choices. People thought about it and played only to realize there was nothing discernibly meaningful there. No one’s been able to answer that question. No one’s been able to tell me what’s better with cores in infusion. Instead, we get called whiners, lazy, entitled and stupid.

Bungie has given the answer of design choice and adding more meaning to infusion. Whether or not people buy that is up to them, but that's bungies reasoning behind their change. In terms of individual players, no one can give a valid reason as to why it cost even more shards, glimmer and planetary mats. So i really dont see how anyone not part of the dev team can validate having it. Then again the question itself is what benefit do we have for cost of infusion itself altogether? Cost of anything really. Added hurdle to do multiple things in the game. Personally i don't care if it stays or goes. As for the nerfs, those were warranted and better reason than enhancement cores. People may not have liked the changes but made sense nonetheless.

  • They didn’t give that answer. You did.

  • Uhh look at what you wrote yourself
With cores, it’s just “no”. Well, at first it was meaningful choices.
And what i said
Bungie has given the answer of design choice and adding more meaning to infusion.
the core change in and of it self is a design choice. A game design choice. Meaningful choices adds more meaning to infusion. So no i didnt make anything up.
