Grab your skirts men, the time is now.

Not kidding. There is a push from the side which is obvious, lol, for men to wear skirts, women's clothing. Lmao! The craziness continues. Happy Father's day.....oh wait, that's offensive and portrays toxic masculinity. Google “The Ladies from Hell”, otherwise known as the Royal Highland Regiment. They wore skirts....into battle. ...and they were given that nickname in fear and respect. It’s like the US Marines being called Devil dogs. I refuse to waste time and energy on people who live to be offended, or see themselves as perpetual victims. If Father’s Day is someone’s idea of a problem...they have few real problems.

        • There’s actually a long history of men wearing “skirts” from togas to kilts to medieval tunics. Pants for men only become the norm in the last hundred years or so: https://www.bustle.com/p/the-history-of-men-skirts-58088 Can’t say I’d ever wear one - I like pants. But I couldn’t care less what other people wear. I’m a big believer in individual freedom. I’m also big believer in not judging people by the clothes they wear.

Let people wear what they want, did you also get your jimmies rustled when people said women could wear pants? The Father's day stuff is silly. Actually reading through that second article, sounds like you fell for clickbait.

          • Just a friendly reminder that: Kilts =/= Skirts. I do know that these articles are specifically about skirts and not kilts. I just wanted to clear up any confusion any between the manliest clothes item ever and a pansy's panties.

Your title made me want to go buy a kilt, but my black ass gets enough weird looks as it is, what with my blue boots, pink laces and multi colored beanie.

              • Gee, so shocking that a small percentage of clickbait opinion pieces and twitter posts are all angry about Father’s Day. Same way you see a tiny portion of guys flip out how Mother’s Day glorifies women who are bad moms and how that day should really celebrate the single dads. People love a good outrage.

              • Do loincloths count as skirts? If so I’m in. Clothes are a hassle anyways. I just need to hide my shame.

              • In Scotland, women where shorts and men where skirts (they’re called kilts).

                • I can support that. Let people wear what they want. If a guy wants to wear a skirt, or a dress, I say he should be able to without getting made fun of. Father’s day being oppressive is a little ridiculous, though... However, that’s not what the article was saying, despite its clickybaity. It was saying that it’s okay for a guy to be girly, and that I can get behind. (though admittedly I stopped reading I’d guess 2/3rds of the way through)
