At 749 everything you get that is powerful will be 750. What this sounds like is that you are getting gear that is not powerful. Alternately, you are expecting certain drops to be powerful, when they are not. Here is what is powerful in the DC: - completing Petra's weekly challenge (ascendant challenge and gateway between worlds) - turning in 8 Petra bounties - opening the chest after a t4 blind well - weekly story quest - shattered throne, when available (three drops) - claiming the ascendant challenge bounty The chest at the end of the ascendant challenge and the chest at offering to the Oracle are not powerful. Lastly, powerful rewards become less and less powerful as your power level scales. All if the DC stuff is mainly +1 or +2 at power level 700, but for lower players, they can be +5. Right now, the Menagerie is the best place to get targeted powerful drops. If you only have one piece of armor you need upgrade to 750, you can craft that slot using the runes. If you have Power and efficiency 2 unlocked, that's a lot of high level gear you can make.
