Hey folks, i'm back again introducing another real life weapon as a suggestion for the game. Sorry for the long video attached for the post but it gives a brief overview of the weapon and a demonstration.
-FG42 is WWII German paratrooper rifle. it was designed to be the "do it all rifle"
- it was sorta bulky and fired like a machine gun, and the magazine could only hold 20 rounds, but the caliber was 8mm mauser (another words they were some hefty rounds that deal a lot of damage)
- what makes this weapon unique is how it fired high-caliber rounds but still have decent recoil control. The weapon is a step above most auto-rifles, but a step below most machine guns. To me that's something that also makes it unique and exotic in my opinion.
If i were to make this a destiny weapon, it would be a full-auto exotic kinetic weapon. However, it would be a high-caliber, high stability (stability meter would be 2/3rds of the way full), medium impact (impact meter would be about halfway full), high rate of fire auto rifle (650 rpm). To balance this out (because i can already see some people getting angry lol) The weapon will be a low capacity, somewhere between both short and medium range, medium reload speed, medium accuracy, and lower handling (handling meter 1/3rd of the way full) auto rifle. because the rifle only holds 20 rounds, if you do not manage your ammo wisely then you will run out of ammo very quicly and die.
Exotic Perks:
- High caliber rounds that deal more damage to both energy shields and combatants.
- Rampage: Kills with this weapon temporarily grant increased damage. Stacks 3x.
- Icarus Grib: Increased acurracy while airborne (because it is WWII paratrooper weapon i wanted to stay close to its roots.)
- Rangefinder: Aiming this weapon increases its effective range and zoom magnification.

2 RepliesEdited by Proper-Gander: 6/12/2019 9:59:30 PMAirborne perks are trash tier. How’s about instead: Killing airborne enemies causes them to heat up and fly into the closest enemy combatants causing high (Insert Burn) damage that lingers for 4-5 seconds. No cool down.

2 RepliesWill my titan get fallschirmjager armor and shaders? No? Then I dont want it. Side note: what's your fascination with trying to bring real world guns in game? Side side note: the only things I can think of lasting long enough to make it to wherever in the far future destiny is set in would be 91/30's and akm's and for the latter we have(had)the supercell.

Tell me what you guys think and give suggestions please.
