Hello everyone, I noticed over the course of Destiny and Destiny 2 that there were some extremely shady practices going on with the franchise and customers would complain and receive excuses that everyone would believe or not be told anything. I'd like to start off with weapons having a set lifespan on them and why this is true. Throughout the franchise, Bungie will release great weapons and then just before a new batch of weapons are coming from a new DLC, they nerf whatever was hyped up for the previous installment or DLC. They intentionally release a powerful fun weapon and then nerd it or take it away...this is ONLY done for the nostalgia factor so they can bring it back, advertise it with a DLC or sequel, and then coincidentally make it useless before the next DLC or nostalgic weapon comes along to make us want to buy it. They buff and nerf the weapons according to sales NOT player feedback. This model they use is to manipulate the customers with lies, bait, and psychology to improve their sales in the short term, per DLC. Short term thinking keeps a company stifled by itself. This makes profits predictable, but again, only short term though. Activision seen the way their model is set up and profits it produces, customer satisfaction etc and this is exactly why Activision dropped Bungie... coincidentally at the same exact time they were looking to drop any developers they considered dead weight. Do you all really think they just can't get the vendors to work like they used to? There was only one thing wrong with them and can you guess what it is?...those OTHER vendors you focused on we're taking your focus away from another much more important vendor called Eververse. The side money is even more important than us having fun...did you know that? People are very tired of being baited with old content that was left out or nerfed, intentionally to hype me up for it's return. Manipulation of stats to promote newer content and giving an untrue excuse as to why is called lying. The company hasn't even really invested in itself either. They still use a small team of very rookie developers and cut corners in the art department by slapping a new skin on old content, making a few tweaks and calling it new. This is old news but really shows how dedicated they are to improving themselves...why? Because investing in better content creators and developers increases profits in the long run...NOT SHORT TERM. It's greed at it's finest...sad. It's all just a big scam now and exactly why Activision dumped them. Greed and incompetence don't work well for business. I'd give Bungie another 2 years max now that even Wacktavision doesn't even want them. InB4BungieFanboys who defend this trash model.
