6 RepliesEdited by DuBChiri2: 6/5/2019 6:32:37 PMI liked the scrapper bounties because I didn't have to go out of my way to get cores...now I do and it's slower. Get rid of cores. This system just makes it too slow. 15 a week isnt shit when you could get 20+ simply for being more active.

7 RepliesEdited by KingOfSchmidts: 6/5/2019 7:38:47 PM"Enhancement Cores are for infusion and they're not going away, get over it!" Also: "Just don't infuse any of your gear and you'll have plenty, dumb dumb!" 😐 Honestly, I've pretty much ignored them as infusion materials and simply use them to MW all my weapons, as was their original intended purpose... If ANYTHING, I wish Bungie would lower the cost to Master Work our gear. I pulled a Nightshade out the other day, because I desperately missed my baby, and MW'd it for just 10 cores.... God I miss that....

1 ReplyScanned this thread and realised why I haven't played since March and why my participation on the boards has plummeted. Je suis fatigué.

Yes they did. Maybe we should remind them why that is a bad idea? No more money for you, Bungie. Opulence is as boring as expected. Same old boring shit, with one new activity. FFS. I’m going to swallow my vitriol and play with friends. But CoD MW looks amazing and it seems they’ve learnt from trying to be a Destiny clone. Seems my gaming taste could be coming full circle.
This issue is just NOT going to go away guys.....
Yes, cored are still a bad piece of a bad leveling system. They should be removed from the cost of infusion and used to masterwork gear only.

47 RepliesIt's interesting how some will say things like, how is it an issue, I have plenty, etc... I got a really interesting question for everyone that says cores aren't an issue. Give me a few examples of how they actually have improved this game? The reason being is I can give a few reasons why they are a useless material in this game and how it literally does not improve it 1 bit other then what they were originally created for. Their actual purpose and that was to (only masterwork.) Until you guys can actually prove cores are a benefit for this game that actually improves the game like (Motes of light do for D1.) Defending them being in this game has no meaning at all and no real answer to why they should stay as part of the infusion.

1 ReplyRemove Cores from Infusing

1 ReplyAnd here I am sitting on the sidelines just waiting for something that is never going to happen. I'm actually glad Bungo messed this game up so badly. I've never been more relaxed since I quit my "second job".

6 RepliesEdited by Jiggyfly: 6/5/2019 7:02:59 PMYou could just not infuse everything. I have almost 200 cores and over 15 weapons I masterworked myself. Stop infusing the same weapon over and over every time you get a higher light item and you won’t run out. Problem solved. You don’t even need to run the highest light gear you get, as long as you have equipped the highest light items you had at least once, you should be fine. The game drops items based off your highest possible light, not your current light level.

This issue is just NOT going to go away guys.....
Cores aren't going away either, they stated what they are going to do to make obtaining them easier. Please get over yourselves and figure out how to manage the games economy better,or just come and complain on the forums.
-
18 Replies1200 masterwork cores and constantly infusing
-
10 RepliesI think the issue is going away. They've embraced the MMO/RPG identity and there some sort of transmog system coming.
-
This issue is just NOT going to go away guys
But it can be dealt with the same way complains about Eververse were addressed 😉

4 RepliesHold up your saying I have to play the game to be able to level up gear? So unfair
-
10 RepliesOh no, the discussion that was extremely stale and had no reason to exist further was unpinned, what a tragedy. How will Bungie ever know that the collective 27 morons on the forums that hate everything hate cores too? Woe is me.
-
Haha that non-issue, I forgot some ppl were still crying about that!
-
2 Replies
This issue is just NOT going to go away guys.....
They also changed the interface menu before addressing stuff like cores. Kind of funny when a new strike or some new PvP maps would have been amazing.
-
9 RepliesI spent the past 2 weeks grinding to prep for the dlc. Got around 70-80 enhancement cores. I don’t get how people have such a issue with them.
-
3 RepliesIs it just me or do we now use more cores to infuse 3 for 690 blue 2 for purple 4 for exotic. Seams to me more than it was before up date.?
-
Echooooooo

3 RepliesEdited by zxionisus: 6/5/2019 7:57:54 PMIt’s pinned under the “new” section, not “trending”.
-
1 ReplyIt's probably died down as most people hit the 700 max, so Bungie unpinned it. But with thr power level increase, it'll be an issue again soon. Bad timing, that's all. But you're right, this issue will remain a problem. I know I still won't be masterworking any weapons. It's just not worth sacrificing that many potential infusions.
-
21 RepliesThey want 4 types of materials to infuse my nameless midnight, with a higher light nameless midnight. Including 10 legendary shards and 2 cores, plus planetary materials AND glimmer. WTF?
-
But if they change cores for infusion it will upset all the streamers who obviously are the only ones supporting bungie, lol.
