One thing that was always a big attraction to Destiny for me was the aesthetic of the weapon models. They looked sleek and original and cool overall. As the game grew, we saw less of these models being used and more variants from the different weapon foundries. I don't think there's anything really wrong with the Hakke, Suros, Omolon, etc. weapon models, but I'd like to see more of the old models as I feel like they really personify that classic Destiny feel.

They definitely should.

D1 weapon models(blues in D2) take shaders better than D2 weapon models. That's saying somethin'.

I liked whenever they made legendary weapons based on the exotics red death and hawkmoon I really forgot the the ar you could get to drop but I had mine with snap and glass half full and I loved it

I definitely wouldn't mind some of those gun models coming back, especially the old hand cannon, pulse and fusion models. The aesthetic of destiny 1 was one of the main reasons I started playing.

Another thing I'd like to point out are a lot of the older opticals on these guns. The ORS and ORS1, the OAS, etc. They also look really cool and carry a similar vibe to the original weapon models themselves.
