Hello, I haven't played D2 in over a year on pc, i was on ps4. Now that im coming back for SoO I wanted to make sure everything was silky smooth on pc and i can't play. The game states i must launch D2 through Battle.net, which i am. I feel like i've tried everything i know how to do. Deleted caches, the game, battle.net and nothing has worked. If anyone has anything i can do the help would be very much appreciated.

8 RepliesHello, and thank you for your report. Here are some steps you can take to potentially solve the issue: - Making sure you are always launching Destiny 2 from the Battle.net application - Running both Destiny 2 and Battle.net as administrator - Running Scan and Repair in the Battle.net application - Deleting these cache / settings directories and then immediately running Scan and Repair:
o %PROGRAMDATA%\Battle.net o %APPDATA%\Battle.net o %LOCALAPPDATA%\Battle.net o %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
- Manually closing all Blizzard and Bungie apps in Task Manager, then restarting - Resetting your Battle.net password

Edited by MikeMaximus: 5/31/2019 4:49:54 PMI was just messing around for an hour trying to fix this on my system. I'm also returning to the game for SoO. I was finally able to log-in after running Battle.NET as Administrator, which you can select by right-clicking on the Battle.NET icon. I'm not sure why that is needed now, it used to run without needing admin.
