Streamers who have contributed in no small part the demise of this game.....escalation protocol was to easy make it harder raids are to easy make them harder guns are to powerful nerf them......here is the thing streamers have many hours a day to play. It’s how they make their money. They want things to be hard so they can look like gods to those that can’t. Ya no sht they sit and play hours and hours on end. They want what will make for good and view worthy. They want it to be extra super hard.....so they can make tutorials and breakdown videos [[b][u]for the views[/u][/b] because joe average who plays a few hours a day just can’t do. But hey good for you Bungie. Activision Bailed 70% of your audience left.....and those that are left tired of working so hard to get the things they wanted. To only have you nerf them into the ground. And handing us nothing but nerfed reskins....what to the cabal look like in opulence? Just throw in some silver? Maybe made a purple cabal? Or did you even bother change them from calus? Cause I mean making games is hard....right? But hey I know luke knows what I want.....look around the writing is on the wall. You have ignored a big part of ur players for months , great way to treat ur customers Apart from a few streamers who probably get it free for promoting it and yes a small percentage will buy because they believe everything you say But the majority of ur player base will not and you only have yourselves to blame . Unless some fundamental changes are made to the model of the game, I see no real reason to get that excited. I always look forward to the story, but even that has been lacking for me a bit lately. I haven’t felt like a guardian in nearly a year now. I feel more like an errand boy or a mercenary or something. Is there a “taskmaster” seal that we can earn because that’s what it feels like right now. I’ve never had such a divisive mentality about a piece of entertainment. Not a one. I can go from REALLY liking something about it to a level of annoyance and frustration that makes me not play it for a while. It’s FAR too rigid and unless they announce that they are finally opening it up instead of continuing to suffocate this very interesting fictional universe, it will still be a “wait until a bundle is on sale” kind of thing.

That came in the form of my purchase of Forsaken and the AP. Forsaken good, AP awful (thus far). Second chance wasted (thus far). In other words, if Bungie are to get any more money from me... Opulence has to be amazing AND Bungie need to outline every aspect of any/all future paid-for content in "the next chapter of Destiny 2" ie not the lack of info we had when asked to pre-order the (thus far) awful Y2AP AND every aspect of any/all future paid-for content in "the next chapter of Destiny 2" has to appeal to me ie no Season of Gambit, no season of Crucible. Actually, I could probably add one last condition... That any/all future paid-for content in "the next chapter of Destiny 2" has to be PvE related alone. I won't even pay for a single new map while the Crucible experience remains so pathetic. Of course the easy solution is to offer a PvE-only version of any future paid-for content you drop (and a PvP-only one too for the PvPers). Here's hoping...

What I don't want to hear is they are doing another annual pass and D3 is being worked on.

9 RepliesFor me, it's gotten to the point of watching a movie trailer, you know the ones where they show the highlights of the move but by watching the trailer you just watched the entire movie? Yeah, it's like that, so I know it would be a waste of time to go to the theater. Maybe the next Annual Pass will offer something to get the game moving forward?

I suspect that they will announce a Drednought/Savathuun/Hive $40 DLC($70 for DLC and Y3 Annual Pass) for Sept. I know that was Activisions content model, but it's still the only logical place they can take the story I will bump this thread June 6th if I am right
