Seriously, I'm out.
Bungie's solution has always been to nerf everything.
This game was on life support and today they pulled the plug.
Edit: Just started playing Hollow Knight. A very well done indie metroidvania. Highly recommend it.

3 RepliesDespite the controversy going on with Operation Dark Hours, Division 2. Monster Hunter World is also one I HIGHLY recommend. If you enjoy it, dare I say get the Iceborne expansion.

BL3 incoming! Games I love: Also RDR2 is my fallback atm. Online just got new content. Monster hunter world as well. I may grab a copy of Jump Force. Path of exiles has deep skill tree and super cool and F2P I believe. Conan Exiles There’s always Apex Legends and Fortnite if that’s your thing There is variety out there. 🖕bUngie

For pvp I suggest overwatch

5 RepliesBorderlands 2, and soon, 3. King of looter shooters.
-
2 RepliesBorderlands is coming soon. They know how to make a proper looter shooter
-
1 ReplyPvP FPS wise? Honestly nothing beats Rainbow Six Siege. PvE wise? Division 2 is actually decent. For the cluster F*#k that was Division 1. 2 isn’t bad.

7 Replies"Better" is relative. I'd argue that you'd have a difficult time finding a game with tighter gunplay. "Better" loot: Any Borderlands "Better" power fantasy: Anthem Honestly, just play a game for fun instead of playing for the endless grind. We've been throwing in Rocket League and I'm surprised at how it altered my motivation to play Destiny.

1 ReplyDays gone. Because Destiny might as well be a zombie at this point waiting for deacon to put it down.

Edited by ghodzila: 5/18/2019 11:23:25 AMA walk in the sunlight every day for 30 minutes. Reading at least one book a week. Stay current on world affairs by reading and watching a wide variety of sources instead of one biased source. Go to at least one movie a week. Have a family dinner every Sunday. Invite friends over regularly. If you have a major sports team in your area, go to a game once a month. For games, try Final Fantasy XIV. Borderlands 3 in Sept. ESO. Guild Wars 2. Warframe.

4 RepliesIt's a late start, but warframe has a lot to offer...ALL for free if you are willing to invest the time, but you can spend money and progress faster. Years of development kept in the same game, it is a completely different environment with the same goal. Except this one seems to have the player in the focus of their development.

If you're really looking for something to fill the looter shooter niche then I'd strongly suggest Division 2. It certainly has it's own issues but the dev's have actually made solid strides to fixing them so far. They did a great job turning Division 1 around and they learn from their mistakes unlike Bungie imo. Now if you're just looking for a great game in general I recommend Doom 2016, absolutely fantastic game.

1 ReplyRage 2, pre order borderlands 3, assassin's Creed odessy, there are some good games man. Destiny 2 isn't addicting at all. I'm down to 1- 2 hours a week.
-
Borderlands 3 when it comes out. The remastered versions of Borderlands 1 and 2 are great too. Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition. Far Cry 5. Far Cry 3 remastered. Spider-Man Red Dead 2.
-
If you have never played them, pick up Borderlands 1 or 2. The Borderlands games were my “go-to” looter/shooters long before Destiny ever showed up. If either game entertains you, then you have the formidable and highly anticipated Borderlands 3 landing in September. The real looter/shooter is returning and it looks awesome.

Tetris. Just play Tetris

3 RepliesEven if you get 1 million suggestions for better games, you won't like any of them if you don't go in with an open mind. I'm saying this because most gamers that spend time in Destiny are addicted to it and literally do not know how to break free and that is because they have never played any other games. Do yourself a favor, whatever you decide to do, do not even try to compare any game to Destiny because it will ruin playing that game for you.

You can always wait for BL3

I’m going back to the Resident Evil series.

I’ve been playing brawlhalla recently and I think it’s fun

Borderlands 3 when it finally drops.

4 RepliesI'd recommend Warframe. Been enjoying that for about 4 months now haven't really touched Destiny since. Just been hopping on the forums to see if anything changes and then it's right back to playing Warfame because no, nothing changes. It's hot garbage in a trash fire of disappointment every time.
