Remove Zero Hour timer... people are doing the infinite timer CHEAT so it's pointless!
Seriously, all you have to do is go read the reddit thread and watch some YouTube videos to see that HUNDREDS of people (maybe thousands by now) are doing this CHEAT to get the weapon! It's only been out 2 days so I'm sure by the end of the first week the time CHEAT will be the way the majority of the community completes this mission.
This is not fair to those of us who prefer to NOT cheat. Since you aren't going to fix the CHEAT then why have a timer at all? Shit like this is why I'm starting to despise this game developer. They put out a challenge but then completely ignore it when everyone cheats to complete it.

I did it in 3 runs...I didn't even find it as hard as the whisper mission...without the timer, there really isn't a challenge...they would have to replace it with extinguish or something. If people need to cheat, I hope they feel good about themselves, otherwise, it doesn't affect me. Going to do the catalyst legit tonight too.

Because you want to use it in crucible or gambit to have an advantage over people who don't have it? I don't count on other people NOT having stuff so I can "succeed." I did it honestly. Don't care much about what others do. Use the cheat or don't. Get the gun, worry about more important things.

2 RepliesI got the gun legit. It took us about 8-9 tries, and I lost 6 hours of my life (a couple breaks in between attempts), but the cheese isn't really needed. Not as bad as people who pay for Luna/NF carries, since they didn't do it themselves. That's way more annoying than someone stopping a timer.
