As a solo player, and a mediocre one at best, I've just learned to accept that there is content and weapons that I will never get to enjoy. It's just another gun, I have plenty of others, and it's just a game, there are plenty of those too. I would like to get to play the other content, but not enough to do what it takes for that. I'm not going to blame Bungie for not making everything easy for me, but at the same time I wouldn't complain if they made solo versions, like timers and enemies adjusted per player count.

Thanks for the offers to help, there are a lot of good people in this community for sure. However, I just took a (long, don't tell my boss) break at work and watched a solo run through of this quest and I can safely say that this is a gun that I will never possess. I play the content that I enjoy playing, and that just isn't it. If you are one of those that do enjoy it then that's great for you, but to put myself through that under a time limit just for a gun just isn't worth it to me. BTW, I don't have whisper either, and I'm not bothered by it at all. I have lots of other fun guns to play with, and new games on the horizon. Thanks again for the offers to help, enjoy your new guns!

What platform are you on? My clan is on Xbox and we will help you get it. We don't get mad at failing we just keep trying, having fun until we get it or call it a day.

I just looked up your stats as comparison.... I wanted to say, you’re WAY better than me and I went into lfg, found two randoms and completed it in about an hour. Watch the completed video on YouTube, que up solo if you can to practice the jumps, and post on lfg that you’re looking for a guide. If I could do it, you can too. If you’re on Xbox, I could help. I believe in you!!!!

Why wouldn’t you use lfg or the fire team section in this app? I never understand people who choose to play solo then complain that they can’t do the hard activities on their own
