Is the Outbreak Prime quest too hard?
I keep seeing posts saying something like “Bungie’s screwed over 99% of its players by making getting this weapon take some level of skill.”Yet, funny thing is: the majority of those posts have zero upvotes.
Now, I haven’t run the quest yet because I’ve been busy with other shit today, and I’m just genuinely curious as to whether or not the majority of the community thinks it’s as big of an issue as the mass spam of these forums would imply.

These people seem to forget that Outbreak Prime from Rise of Iron's Wrath of the Machine raid was infinitely harder to get and required co-ordination between six people instead of shooting and jumping through a single mission. More over, it actually had puzzle mechanics unlike the "jumping puzzles" everyone's complaining about. Since when did the word platforming no longer apply to "jumping puzzles" without puzzle mechanics?

Normal is a good level of difficulty for the community. Heroic just requires a bit of practise and a more fine tuned effort.

1 ReplyI wouldn’t say too hard. I’d say you better lace up your PVE boots cuz it’s gonna out you through your paces but the gang and I did it in like six runs.

Fastest I made to the boss was in 12 minutes so honestly as long as you and your team talk, you can do it fairly well

Its not very hard, did it four times so far and didnt manage to complete it. Didnt even get to the boss. The problem is that people on LFG will stop after one run if we fail and then I have to find another team to run with.
