Outbreak Prime Quest is live y'all !!! OMG SIVA is back :O
I cannot begin to describe the amount of fun I had playing this quest. This was so well done. Nothing but ❤️ for everyone at Bungie it’s times like these when Destiny shines the brightest. My friends & I had as much fun figuring it out as getting the gun. Thank you ^_^
Edit 1:
Credit : Have put up Datto's Video on how to get the fallen transponder, the 6 node locations and how to navigate the puzzle section in the mission.
Go in by yourself and learn the puzzle routes or watch videos, with successive attempts we got to the boss room with 7 minutes to spare. The longer the better.
Edit 2:
The route changes for the heroic version, instead of going down the vent near the ship midway you have to take a small shaft on the other side. (Datto's video shows that as well)
Also you need to run heroic version to get the ship 'Nanophoenix' and do a separate quest like the oracle side quest in the whisper of the worm mission. When I find a proper guide to it, will link that up as well.
Edit 3:
To everyone having trouble opening the door to get to the transponder you have to finish the world quest on Titan and get the rat king quest only then will you be able to access that area.

18 RepliesThis community never ceases to amaze me. Brand new quest that is 7 hours old and already fireteam finder full of "KWTD". Chances are the plebs don't even "KWTD", but happened to watch a YouTube video and now think they "KWTD". If YouTube and other various video sites suddenly disappeared I think 99% of the players would never accomplish anything in a videogame because they would have to actually use their grey matter.

1 Reply-The timer is stupid. There is no logical reason for why you'd randomly get kicked out at all. At least The Whisper kicked you out because the anomaly closed. Just remove it, the quest is difficult enough. -Why make us find the Fallen dude if the literal only thing he does to help is kill a single red bar Dreg???? Why did he leave his transponder in that room on Titan? Why did he not decipher the nodes if it's written in Fallen language? Why are the nodes even on the other planets? Why would he put them in areas where the Fallen thrive, if they're his enemies now? Why did he not just slip us an encrypted message that says meet me in the Farm? How is the Rendezvous message after getting the 6 nodes supposed to make sense to anyone, in any way? How did he GET in the Farm undetected? -How does The Drifter suddenly know what we did? What gossip is he talking about? Literally no-one ever saw us in that mission, besides the bad guys we kill. Credit to the mission itself as it is fun, but everything surrounding it is.... just why?

4 RepliesReally? Another old weapon to grind for? I know content is hard and all, but you could of come up with a new exotic pulse or something at least NEW. Yawn... cannot get excited anymore. The good news is... I just got Recluse... new favorite weapon, until they nerf it.

1 ReplyI love the quest, just a shame it has a timer, would like to explore the old tower more and just generally take my time and get it done! Bungie will never remove the timer we all know this so I guess I just need to "git gud" as most of you would put it lol Personally I believe the timer should be kept for the heroic version of the quest only, or even better extend it when you kill adds like they did in the Revelry last week!

I wish it was a new exotic weapon though. I think the fact that they keep bringing back old weapons made this game get much staler for me.

1 ReplyI was really hyped for this weapon in D1, until I got it. I was underwhelmed by the weak nanite damage. The quest line as really difficult for it too. I think I was more disappointed by Necrocasm though that gun was just terrible. I don’t know how soon I’ll be going after this gun, if I do at all. Soooo bored right now.
