Dedicated servers needed before you purchase Destiny 3?

2 RepliesCall me an idiot but what exactly does dedicated severs mean? I never quite understand what it meant. I just want a answer (Don’t actually call me an idiot but if you do I did ask for it :)

3 Replies[they are needed for both pve and pvp, so yes. It is actually the first step that should logically be taken before most of the more minor changes people throw tantrums about are fixed. The real issues are the lack of a changing meta, the drip feed content not dripping at a proper rate or the drips not being large enough, the fact that we have at least two useless vendors, and an overused cosmetic store. Of course, those are lesser issues compared to the lack of dedicated servers for those not working at Bungie’s headquarters.]

1 ReplyDedicated servers are also needed for PvE. All these blaming guitar (desync) and similar errors we often get in raids and other pve activities are also because of shitty p2p networking.

yes, but for comp/trials - i dont have an issue with P2P for quickplay.

1 ReplyIf it doesn't, I shall avoid it for 1.5 years and get it on sale with all dlcs and what not in one. If it is good that is..If bad, well, I had fun while it lasted.

Can you imagine in 2020 playing on non dedicated servers and 30 FPS? I hate to say it but I wouldn’t be surprised at all. 😐

That is NOT why some people only play PVE. PM me if you're curious.
