Now don’t get me wrong I absolutely adore the Destiny Soundtrack from both games ,To the point where some tracks have brought me to near tears,Looking at you “The Man They Called Cayde” when we get our new super. But my God I seriously despise a lot of parts of the Warmind OST What mostly bugs me about it is that it uses the exact same melody in so many different tracks ,Either from the main theme of Destiny or Destiny 2 ,over and over and over ,throwing a different version If it’s in a cave give it a cold theme but [i]just throw in the same melody[/i] If it’s Hive give it a Hive theme but [i]just throw in the same melody[/i] Uh oh the Cabal is here give the track a large trombone and drums but [i]just throw in the same melody[/i] Now I don’t want this post to be just hate on the music ,Michael Salvatori and his crew are musical geniuses and deserves way more respect than what they’re given but this snippet of their work really needs to be held as an example that using the same melody in their work ,no matter how different it may sound ,seriously hinders the overall theme And yes ,there are some pretty great tracks in Warmind ,but honestly this reuse of the same melody makes the bad stick out more than the good to me [spoiler]And yes you could say mute the game but I’m not going to mute the music everything I play any mars related activity ,That’s just crazy[/spoiler] I have extremely high hopes that Michael and his team will continue to developed amazing soundtracks ,but please don’t keep reusing the same melody in so many different tracks [spoiler]Yes this post is very opinion biased ,but atleast it’s not a rant about Enhancement Cores[/spoiler]
