Honest Question: Are Raids and Iron Banner worth it anymore?
So I've been playing since D1, I've done every raid except the two in Forsaken (Last Wish and Scourge), and I played Iron Banner every time it was around until recently. Maybe I'm really late to this particular party but am I the only one that feels like the gear you get out of these just isn't worth the time and effort put into doing them anymore? I mean I can still do a raid and have fun with my team but...it's a raid, shouldn't it have THE endgame PVE loot? And same for Iron Banner as a PVP mode? Based on what I've seen the best non-exotic weapons atm are either from Gambit (Breakneck, Bygones), Escalation, or Black Armory activities (Blast Furnace), and because of this I have zero incentive to do either raids or competitive PVP. Am I the only one?
And I know that this is probably so that players who can't find raid teams or choose not to participate in these aspects of the game can reach max level and don't feel excluded, and that's great, more power to you, but I can't help but feel that the more involved players need more than a single exotic and some triumphs to entice them into raids. Agree? Disagree? Are there weapons from these activities that are truly great that I'm just missing? Let's discuss, I want to know how other players feel about this.

I’d say the raids are still worth doing. They’ve still got good weapons and the armor can roll with enhanced perks. I still see Midnight Coup, Alone as God and Inaugural Address from the Leviathan pretty often. They’re also a lot of fun 😄

2 RepliesI haven’t done a single raid and I don’t see the reason to do them due to how lackluster they are compared to D1 raids, that and the only weapon that seems worth doing them for is 1k voices

2 RepliesIf you want the weapons then I guess they are. I don't do Raids since Leviathan and I havent done IB in 3 or so seasons. Never had any problems being good at the game, or going up against 1K Voices in Gambit. Just depends on how much you believe the "gotta have it" hype.

1 ReplyMaybe Last Wish for those who don't have 1k Voices, but the rest seem passable. It's insulting that Iron Banner is completely skippable nowadays.
