Given how powerful these guns' exclusive perks are I think they should be turned into exotics this way it will force people to more strongly consider their loadouts. You want to run that Wardcliff or Chaperone? Then give up the Luna's or Not Forgotten. Bungie made a mistake imo making these guns' exclusive perks so powerful. I think this is a good compromise that will potentially lower their usage rate while at the same time having them not be nerfed.

2 RepliesI have lunas and this is a bad idea, it wont change anything bro, dust rock blues is a legendary, players would replace wardriff coil with a machine gun or any other rocket, nothing will change. The truth is, lunas how and not forgotten needs the perk removed and switched to kill clip or rampage, everything else about the gun can stay, its a pvp weapon so it should have the best stats but the perk it has is overkill.

Isn't it funny that everyone that doesn't have Luna's are the ones constantly whining about it being Op? Pretty cool to try and argue a point when you don't even know what you're talking about. In short, git gud
-
3 RepliesIf you had luna you would know its not that op and plenty weapons can compete.
-
Solution: DONT PLAY CRUCIBLE
-
I suck with the Luna’s, or I just have really rotten luck...I can’t land headshots with the thing. I can get a we ran with the duke but I put on my lunas and it’s epic fail time.

Sounds good

1 ReplyI mean, while I agree with the fact that they are waayyyyyy overpowered, the gun is a reward for doing one of the hardest grinds ever. I think whoever got it deserves it. (Excluding people who payed others to boost their account)

8 RepliesPersonally I feel people are looking at this the wrong way. They see the end result which is the gun that kills them and not the first problem that was the fact that they were put in a lobby with a superior player. Now I’m not saying Luna and NF aren’t strong but if you put a run of the mill casual up against someone who earned a NF then that casual is going to be nothing but a sand bag no matter what gun the NF player is using. So I think a fair solution would be: 1. Change Quickplay’s match making into SBMM. Giving casuals and lower skilled players a place to play without getting shat on each match. 2. Bring in a 3v3 play list that had CBMM. So the higher skilled players could still get a reasonably unlaggy match that’s not necessarily as sweaty as Comp. 3. Bring Trials back so from Friday to Monday the sweats are out of Comp and in Trials. Leaving Comp free for a few more people to progress.

1 ReplyEdited by FallenGaltier: 4/16/2019 3:13:57 AMThe only reason they're such an issue on console is because we have no versatility among hand cannons outside of 180s. If they would balance the other hand Cannon archetypes on console like they are on PC, we'd have more versatility and see a wider variety used. Also one could say we need slightly bigger Maps. Why? Because that would also cut back on the effectiveness of hand cannons as a whole and at the same time fix the shotgun and fusion issue plus give scouts more of a chance to shine.

Idk what's the matter with running chaperone and luna/nf because all three of those weapons require precision to be utilized to their full extent of power, if the player can't hit those precision shots then you should be able to kill them easily
-
7 RepliesYou keep them the same. You buff the other hand cannons.
-
2 RepliesOther hand cannons can easily compete with them, the problem is the inconsistency. Its not just Luna or NF, its all 180s that run crucible. Other hand cannons need reduced recoil and no bloom so they can actually compete. As you see on PC Ace is better due to no bloom and better recoil and is waaaaayy more prominent that luna and Nf, now just image if that was on xbox. Thats the solution and its proven on PC, dont nerf the weapons because they work, fix the weapons that dont work but could compete. Honestly I use last word more than luna and it shreeeeeeeds but like it and other hand cannons its hard to compete at medium distance with any 180 due to bloom and inconsistency.

5 RepliesThat might help a bit. Here are some others I came up with: - end matchmaking for Comp. - provide random loadouts in Comp. Everybody has the same random weapons at the start of each new game.
-
Change Magnificent Howl's damage bonus to apply only to precision damage, not body.
-
1 ReplyAdd recoil and reduce flinch to 180 hand cannons.
-
Ya so then dust rock luna and hammerhead becomes even more prevalent see how that doesnt fix anything

A short analogy to show you the stupidity of Luna/NF: The NASCAR Organisation decides that the top 5% drivers of last year will get new cars that are 30% faster than the ones for everyone else. The other 95% of drivers start to complain and state that the championship is kind of tilted now. NASCAR says they should stop complaining, the 5% earned the better cars fair and square, they beat the other drivers last year with regular cars anyway and the faster cars are only as good as their drivers. In short, git gud.

5 RepliesEveryone's always nerf nerf nerf..wtf is wrong with buffing other weapons..sheesh..
-
1 Replyeasy to offer solutions when you haven't worked for it. keep talking with your 0 glory
-
Says the dude with 0 glory
-
2 RepliesThe fairest solution is to leave them alone.

Making them exotic won’t do anything. Just because they won’t be able to use Wardcliff it’s not going to keep people from having problems with Luna’s and NF. If they are going to be balanced then you need to adjust their stats and perks.
