Bring Crucible game-mode “Rift” back from Destiny 1?
Rift was the crucible game-mode from Destiny 1 that required you to capture a rift (ball) and carry it around the map then finally depositing it in the enemy base...
Edit:
To implement “Rift” into Destiny 2 a few changes would have to be made.
As a few people have mentioned, the maps would have to be a lot bigger or at least similar in size to the map “Bannerfall”.

Needs a rework. Maps way too small for 6v6 already.

I am down for adding anything to expand the content even if its old stuff, however I would rather see large maps brought back with vehicles and larger teams.

I loved Rift back in Destiny 1, but I doubt I would play it on the maps we have on offer in Destiny 2.

They can bring it back as long as it is never an option for iron banner and has its own playlist.

Hey, how about a mode where players load in and one person's loadout is chosen at random for all! Call it One4All. It'd do away with any meta. One match hysterical, the next sweaty... It's rng.... you guys love that! Realistically every game[i] could[/i] be different. Plus, it would incentivise players to grind for some of these guns once they've [i]actually[/i] used them in a match. Not to mention, same loadout... cream should rise to the top. Or hell, anybody who goes on a kill streak could trigger a loadout switch! Bring back the fun! This idea is better than anything crucible design teams given us... and that's off the top of my head! Games!!! Fun and Games!!!

If they brought it back though I’d like to see it as a weekly game mode like mayhem is, not mixed in with quickplay normal. So why not? I want other people to enjoy the game. Just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be there for others who do.

Most maps are to small for rift and against a good team on those small maps you’d get spawn killed over and over again. Would love for rift to come back but we’d need bigger maps

Couldn’t care for rift. Now more modes and combined arms, mayhem rumble and different game modes?! Yes!! More maps, more stuff. This season pass has been lackluster to say it positively.

I played that game mode practically exclusively. It was so fun. If they fine tuned a few things it could be a serious thing imo.

How bout have all the game modes in the game ?!? Not take them away like stoopids !!! The quick play is one of the dumbest ideas Bungie ever put into the game should be all kinds of modes to choose from not that Commie it’s Bungies way or the Highway style PvP !!! Play what we want !!! We bought the dam game !!! Like buying a car and having Ford tell you ok you can’t drive it in dirt that’s the rules . Idiotic !!!
