Don't eat/drink while your mic is on
For the love of all that is good in the world, if you are doing any activity that requires comms, pick another time to enjoy a snack. Nobody wants to hear you crunching on chips or eating chicken or slamming a tall boy. Either mute yourself, or leave until you finish eating. If you know it's annoying and still do it that's a kick off tops. Sorry not sorry.

This is way worse than eating: - having squeeky voices - being cringy/nerdy - blaming people - telling you what items to use - asking for emblems - bragging about shit - threatening to kick you

Even worse is when they’re on their mic and they eat with their mouth open. Guarantees an insta mute if they refuse to mute themselves while they eat while on the mic.

ima just say these victim-olympics between "diabetics" and "misophonia-ns" are hilarious. there's a quick resolve to this issue, either ask the guy to stop eating the mic, kick him if you're team lead, or leave if you're not. i have misophonia (or however you spell it, idc) but I'm certainly no victim, regardless of whatever bad manners I'm assaulted with. its a game, not life-or-death.

Accept that other people may have needs and time constraints such that they feel the need to eat while raiding. It is simply not considerate of you to think your ears are above hearing others needs How does someone needing to eat and communicate offend you? How I view it: Randos or people you don't know- mute your Mic or don't do it. Clanmates and friends(those you play with often)- who cares, open season.

Plus you could always just mute them. And I've heard a lot of people complain about people that have to leave and eat dinner because then they cant finish their raid or whatever they're in. So the basic solution to that problem is to just eat and run that activity at the same time. You shouldn't let that stuff bother you. Their in their own home let them live how they want to. But there are exceptions. Im just speaking for the people that don't purposely try to annoy others.

4 RepliesTo be honest the sound of someone eating/drinking doesn't bother because you know what I've learned to do I've learned to TUNE NOISES out hell right now the neighbors dogs are barking and to be honest i don't notice hem as I've tuned them out. Also as you have been told some people need to keep an eye on their blood sugar level so they need to eat/drink at specific times of the day so deal with it and stop being inconsiderate of other peoples needs its not going to kill you if you hear someone eating/drinking so eat a bag of concrete suck it up princess.
