About 7 runs, only completed one! Was it because it’s too hard, no - was it because the enemies are better than us, no.... what then?
The -blam!-ing stupid stomping Mechanics that Bungie are so -blam!-ing proud off and thinks that are great!! Every time bar one run, we were -blam!-ed over on the bridge, most of time I was no where near a boss yet he stomps me all way down the -blam!-ing bridge to my death, then it would stomp the other team members and by time I could revive - it was over!
What -blam!-s me off is the fact I wasted time running this, when I could be doing other things instead! You bring us a new horde mode, that isn’t hard, that isn’t challenging - it is only boring and very frustrating with the stomping mechanism - that is th only reason we failed, because of your boss stomping!!
So fed up, i switched it off now cause I can’t be -blam!-ed any more tonight Bungie wi your shit!
EDIT: I genuinely appreciate a lot of the comments I am receiving, there is many great advise and tips but unfortunately there is some people who feel that this post gives them an excuse to try and belittle me for their own self-gratification!
Unless you run constantly with me, you do not know my ability, you do not know what I can and can’t do and you do not know what I have achieved in this game - so please don’t judge me! Yes, I had a bad night, yes as it was pointed out I didn’t kill as many as other people did!
I have completed Tier 3 about 49 times so it’s not as if I have never completed it and as I said, it’s not hard, it’s not challenging - failure on bridge always comes down to the stomping!
And again, I had a bad night last night - but I was not the only person in the teams last night that struggled with the bridge - many others were too!
So please, if you don’t agree with me then great, but least debate it with clear, concise and constructive view points - do not turn this into a personal insult towards me! I will try to reply to all comments - positive and negative comments too, but if I don’t - it’s nothing personal.

2 RepliesUnfortunately, too many people don’t pay attention to the big guys. They don’t want to waste heavy or maybe someone else should do it. I don’t know their thinking but they should be a priority. I just leave those groups if I find them. Or the tether hunters who only tether once per stop. You should be tether every time it is up until about 90%. Tether grenade combo. Should be able to get off at least 4 tethers. And seriously no bubbles even if you don’t have a well run banner shield.

5 RepliesI've beat it couple times over the last few days with the matchmaking, just keep getting matched with people who don't run the right set ups or just come in half assed, it's well frustrating. I run Well 90% of the time to try and make things easier for the team but get nowt back in reply.

1 ReplyStomping and the abyssal champion swing lol, i swear i did this 3 times and failed. I gave up. The mechanics are stupid, enemies aren't bad.

I have to agree that the stomping is incredibly annoying! I kept getting stomped whilst in my super 😡 It would be a big relief to remove that particular mechanic from the game! I am also totally with you with the unhelpful comments that a lot of people resort to. I have posted a few suggestions on this forum, only to be showered with juvenile hate messages. People love to attack others to make up for their own inadequacies. Keep up the posts! Let’s get the proper, adult debates going!

1 ReplyI have never been knocked off by the stupid stomping Mechanics in Reckoning, thank goodness... But it has been annoying in other places. I wish they would dial it down a bit. I think its over kill how FAR you get knocked back sometimes.

5 RepliesNot sure what tips were given, but Burning Maul Super can stunlock enemies if you R2 spam. (Plus it kills past them time to time)

4 RepliesEdited by Wickedking44: 4/5/2019 2:51:05 PMI had the same problem last night. More than anything I'm thinking, now that the casuals are catching up to 680 power the skill level of rando team mates has dropped. Not sure what you run but I'm tether man and in prior weeks the stompers never really got close because nova and titans would take them out as soon as I tether them now my teamates seem incapable of doing so and as the tether it's not really feasable for me to take them out.

3 RepliesFirst off lfg to get a group, solo queuing won'twork. Have a tether and a couple of distance supers, (of course well). Ran 7 runs finished 5, got a full set. Keep trying.

1 ReplyThe stomping mechanic is what makes it difficult (and it’s still stupid easy). I’ve never had one of the bridge bosses get out of the spot they spawn. If they got rid of stomp then what would even be the difficulty of this? All you have to do is run 4 armor pieces with special ammo finder and 2 with heavy finder and make sure you run a weapon with same elemental damage for the singe that has high impact and it’s over. People need to quit complaining about mechanics that are there for the challenge. We are about to take all difficulty out of games like Kingdom Hearts did with KH3. If you don’t want difficult mechanics in games then go play easy games instead of trying to take the mechanics that real games want in games.

2 RepliesWe need an emblem that shows how many times our guardians have been stomped to death.
-
4 RepliesEdited by THE SARGE 01: 4/5/2019 9:13:28 AMThe sections on the bridge where you have to stand have a concrete barrier right on the center. Keep moving around it as you shoot the stompers. Their stomp cannot affect you if you keep this between you and them. You can also shoot over the barrier. Also, communicate with your teammates and call out which stomper to shoot. They key is to concentrate as much fire as possible on a single target then move to the next as necessary.

Simple fix. Remove the timer. The timer is the most lazy and least creative mechanic in all of gaming.

9 RepliesBorderlands 3 is coming my child. Be easy.
-
Don’t play it. When 2.2.1 drops, the Hand Cannon and other weapons are coming to Gambit Prime with bad luck protection. Just waste your time.
-
4 RepliesI told many times: watch friggn' burn. You think void sidearm is a good idea with solar burn? You are wrong. Bridge bosses ae designed to be instamelted. They spawn far away and slowly move to you doing exactly nothing. If you can't evaporate them there're no chances for you against the 9-o-swords bastards. Three people is enough for T3 bridge. Did 3-people T3 full runs many times.
-
5 RepliesBungie should make sure you get matchmade with at least 1 warlock And hope that warlock isn't running Nova Bomb You ain't getting across that Bridge without a well of radiance, especially on Tier 3
-
10 RepliesYep, that's why you don't see anyone running tier 3 armor in Prime, hell you don't see many wearing any level of Prime armor really. I don't think people like the Reckoning much. I have a full set of Tier 2 Sentry armor I use, doubt I will bother with Tier 3 after running it a few times.
